TWO DUCKS PROSPECTS REMAIN IN THE CHL PLAYOFFS

Two Anaheim prospects are currently in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) postseason, including Beckett Sennecke (OHL) and Alexandre Blais (QMJHL).

BECKETT SENNECKE (Anaheim first round, third overall in 2024) was named OHL Player of the Week for the second time this season after recording his first OHL playoff hat trick, Apr. 27 @ Barrie (3-1=4). He has recorded 12-11=23 points in 12 postseason contests, collecting multiple points in eight of his 12 games. Sennecke ranks tied for third among OHL leaders in goals, fourth in PPG (5), tied for sixth in points, seventh in points-per-game (1.92) and eighth in plus/minus (+11). He also leads Oshawa in plus/minus and points-per-game, ranks second in PPG, tied second in goals, tied third in points and fourth in assists. The Generals won their First Round series with Brampton 4-2 and their Second Round series with Brantford 4-2. Oshawa currently leads 3-0 over Barrie in the Eastern Conference Championship.

ALEXANDRE BLAIS (Anaheim fourth round, 100th overall in 2024) has recorded 3-11=14 points in 14 postseason contests. He ranks second among QMJHL leaders in plus/minus (+16), seventh in assists and tied for ninth in points. Blais ranks second among Rimouski leaders in plus/minus and assists, third in points and fourth in points-per-game (1.00). He has recorded points in 10 of 14 playoff contests. NOTES:

Two Anaheim prospects represented ECHL affiliate TULSA in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, including defenseman Jeremie Blakabutuka and goaltendeer Vyacheslav Buteyets. The Oilers fell 4-2 in their First Round series with Kansas City.

VYACHESLAV BUTEYETS posted a 2-3 record with a 3.03 GAA and .906 SV% in five playoff contests with Tulsa. He finished the regular season posting a 19-13-3 mark with a 2.82 GAA and .905 SV%, ranking tied for fourth among league leaders with four shutouts.

JEREMIE BIAKABUTUKA recorded one assist in six postseason contests with the Oilers. He finished the regular season with 7-20=27 points in 32 contests and co-led Oilers defensemen in goals while ranking third in scoring and assists.

NORTH AMERICAN PROSPECTS - JUNIOR

NOTES:

VOJTECH PORT recorded 1-5=6 points in 16 postseason contests. He ranked tied for eighth among Lethbridge skaters in assists and tied for ninth in scoring. The Hurricanes won their First Round series with Brandon 4-1 and their Second Round series with Calgary 4-3, before falling 4-0 to Medicine Hat in the Eastern Conference Championship.
