Fall Is Just Around The Corner At The Marbella! As in years past, with summer winding down and fall just around the corner, there will be several adjustments here at The Marbella. Our seasonal residents and friends will soon be returning to a very busy house! We are committed to retaining as many of your favorite activities and social events as possible, while also introducing several new activities. Now is a great time for a sneak peek at what’s ahead, including some of the activities that took a summer hiatus. RETURNING THIS FALL • Bocce, trivia and Neighbor Table • Book Club, which continues to go strong with several great books on the reading list • Live performances: we recently enjoyed several talented jazz artists and plan to welcome them, along with other new performers • Our ever-popular games and activities, including: • 5 Crowns on Sundays • Bridge on Mondays • Mahjong on Tuesdays & Saturdays • Wednesday Game Nights include trivia, cards and bocce • Poker Night • Bingo • Blanket Bunch, Balance Class and Chair Yoga, which have all been well attended and are now established favorites. COMING THIS FALL Labor Day Holiday Buffet Annual Vendor Fair: Meet a variety of vendors who have worked with The Marbella for services you may need. Memory Keepers with Wendy: An opportunity to preserve memories and stories for generations to come.

Being A Good Neighbor At The Marbella Our common areas are shared spaces where you and your neighbors connect every day. Being respectful and considerate helps create a welcoming community for everyone. These spaces remain open to all residents and their guests, even when a room has been reserved for a game or small gathering. Please be courteous and share them with others. Help keep our community clean by properly disposing of trash. Separate recyclables from regular waste, and place all trash down the chute to keep hallways and common areas fresh and odor-free. Before leaving, please tidy up and leave the space as you found it. If you have a pet, remember that not everyone is a pet lover, and even fellow pet owners appreciate a clean environment. Always clean up after your pet, dispose of waste properly, use an alternate exit rather than the front entrance when taking your pet outside, and
keep your pet leashed in all common areas. Designated pet areas are located on the north and south sides of the building. When hosting friends or family, please ensure your guests respect building policies and are considerate of your neighbors. If you're expecting visitors, call ahead so our staff can provide them with a warm Marbella welcome. Being a good neighbor goes beyond following the rules—it means helping build a positive, connected community. Take part in events, introduce yourself to your neighbors, and help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Through courtesy, communication, and mutual respect, we can ensure everyone feels comfortable, valued, and proud to call The Marbella home. Thank you for helping keep our community clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for all.
Reservations Matter: Help Us Plan Ahead As you know, dining room reservations are important in helping our team properly prepare for service each evening. However, reservations are equally important for the use of other spaces such as the Cove Solarium, Library, Card Room/ Venetian Room, and other common areas. Making reservations for these spaces helps ensure fair access and proper scheduling and allows staff to coordinate room availability and setup needs efficiently. It also helps avoid scheduling conflicts and disappointment when rooms are unexpectedly occupied. This will become even more important as we move forward with the upcoming firstfloor renovation project. As construction progresses, certain rooms and amenities may
be temporarily closed or unavailable at different stages. Advance reservations will help us better manage available space and provide residents with the best possible experience despite temporary disruptions. We kindly ask all residents to continue making reservations whenever possible—not only for dining, but also for room use throughout the building. A little planning ahead goes a long way toward maintaining organization, fairness, and convenience for everyone during this busy and exciting period of improvement at The Marbella. Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we work together through these enhancements.
