On The Boulevard
JANUARY 2026
It is my pleasure to announce that The Marbella has appointed Casey Cook as our new Dining Room Manager. Casey joins us with a distinguished record of leadership in hospitality, private club operations, and high-volume food and beverage management. Her background, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence make her a natural fit for our community, and we are delighted to welcome her to The Marbella team.
Casey brings more than two decades of progressively senior management experience across premier clubs, luxury communities, and well-known dining establishments. Most recently, she served as Restaurant Manager for a local steakhouse here in Naples, where she co-managed a $4 million food and beverage operation and supervised more than 70 employees. Her responsibilities included hiring, onboarding, and developing front-of-house teams; overseeing operational standards; and ensuring consistent service delivery in a very high-volume environment. Her hands-on leadership style and her ability to build motivated, well-aligned service teams will directly support our continued focus on quality dining experiences at The Marbella.
Prior to that role, Casey served as Food and Beverage Director at Bear’s Paw Country Club
and as Clubhouse Manager at Bay Colony Golf Club, two respected Naples institutions known for excellence in member dining and social programming. In these positions, she led all dining room operations, managed multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets, and oversaw execution of special events, holiday celebrations, and banquet services. She also collaborated closely with social and house committees, as well as the Lifestyle Coordinator, and developed full seasonal social calendars and dining menus in partnership with culinary teams. Many of the systems she implemented—such as improved onboarding processes, financial controls, and enhanced event communications—remain in place today.
Casey’s experience extends beyond Southwest Florida. Early in her career, she spent eight years at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, one of the nation’s premier private clubs. As Director of Private Dining and Special Events, she managed a dual-facility club with 17 event spaces and a $4.5 million budget. She orchestrated corporate, social, and private events of all sizes, including largescale galas and weddings, and worked closely with organizations such as Coca-Cola, KPMG, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her work earned her the Sam Hatch Award in 2008 for exceptional

Introducing Our New Dining Room Manager: Casey Cook
Kickstart The New Year
As we enter a brand-new year, there’s no better time to focus on your health, energy, and overall well-being. One of the most effective ways to feel your best in 2026 is by establishing a consistent exercise routine—something simple, enjoyable, and tailored to your needs. Creating a routine isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing what matters most regularly. Even small amounts of consistent movement can lead to meaningful improvements in balance, strength, mobility, and confidence.
For older adults, this consistency is critical. It keeps joints healthy, supports independence, and helps maintain the endurance needed for everyday activities like walking, climbing stairs, and keeping up with grandchildren.
A well-structured routine also promotes mental health. Exercise has been shown to improve mood, reduce stress, and enhance sleep—three pillars of a vibrant, fulfilling lifestyle. And perhaps the most overlooked benefit is accountability: when you carve out specific times for movement, it becomes easier to stay motivated and look forward to each session.
As you begin the new year, consider setting one or two small, realistic goals—such as walking three days a week, attending a group fitness class, or doing light strength exercises in your apartment. These simple steps, when repeated, create lasting change. Let’s make this year one focused on strength, renewal, and taking confident steps toward better health—one routine at a time.

Investing
As you grow older, staying active, independent, and connected becomes a more conscious priority than ever—and that’s where physical, occupational, and speech therapy can make a real difference in your quality of life.
Physical therapy helps you stay strong, steady, and mobile so you can keep doing the things you love with confidence. Whether it’s walking safely, getting up from a chair at church or your favorite restaurant, or enjoying a stroll with friends, your therapist will guide you through personalized exercises that improve balance, flexibility, and endurance, helping you prevent falls and maintain your freedom.
Occupational therapy focuses on making everyday tasks easier and safer—like dressing, bathing, cooking, or managing your home. Your occupational therapist can suggest simple adjustments and adaptive tools that let you stay independent and comfortable in your daily routine.
Speech therapy can also play a vital role in keeping you connected. If you’ve noticed changes in your speech, memory, or swallowing, a speech therapist can help you strengthen your communication skills and make eating safer and more enjoyable. Being able to express yourself clearly and share conversations with loved ones boosts your confidence and reduces feelings of isolation.
Together, these therapies don’t just address physical challenges—they help you stay engaged, positive, and self-reliant. By participating in treatment, you’re investing in your health, your independence, and your happiness. With the proper support, you can continue to live life on your terms—stronger, safer, and more connected to the world around you. So whether you’re looking to recover from a recent hospitalization, an elective surgical procedure, or improve the current state of your health, start your new year strong and see us downstairs at the PT room located in The Cove’s small gym.
