BANDAGING SPLINTING Splinting: Full body for spinal protection. Carry large animal safely. Protect severe undiagnosed injuries. Extremities: Prevent weight bearing. Facilitate pet permission to give medical care. Sometime restraining a pet may increase their agitation and fear. Attempt permission but use what is safest, calmest and most appropriate for each situation.
