In 2013 a new strain of flu emerged. Because it was "novel" it had the potential to morph from an outbreak to pandemic. I crafted the CDC Crisis Communication Strategy, including a triggers-based framework. The framework allowed for fast response based on a series of likely events. I used imagery to illustrate the framework as well as levels of response for each trigger.
