OUR HERITAGE
Roald Amundsen was an expert in protecting himself and his crew from hostile environments. He benefited from his strict emphasis on appropriate diet and careful body protection and was the first to reach the South Pole in 1911.
In 1926, he was the leader for the first successful expedition to the North Pole with the airship Norge, making him the first person, without dispute, to reach both poles. He is also known for leading the first expedition sailing through the Northwest Passage in the Arctic (1903–1906).
With a strong passion for Roald Amundsen´s heritage, we develop all our products based on his philosophy of ”preparedness and meticulous planning” - products for all of life´s expeditions.
