Certificates of Appreciation

Breanna Damm

This individual came to a meeting and was interested in volunteering her time and giving back to a profession she loves, so she started by visiting one of the board members. That led to a conversation about a volunteer role, which led to her taking on her current chapter volunteer role.

As busy as she was during this time with her own personal life, moving to a new home, fixing it up to ensure they had heat, fighting illness, being a busy mother of two beautiful little girls and wife and traveling to work, she learned her new volunteer role, fulfilling the duties the role requires, she created the time to help Arden, our Education Chair, finding a location for our Spring Conference

Amber had the opportunity to get to know this volunteer a little more while they were in Pierre at Chapter Initiative Training This enthusiastic volunteer wants to learn all she can, and you can see that her passion shines through. Based on her annual report regarding her volunteer position, it shows she pays attention to the education and training that is laid out in front of her!

I couldn’t be more honored to present this Certificate of Appreciation to Bre Damm! Bre has really dove into volunteering and has gone above and beyond her role to assist the chapter. Thank You for all you do!

Distinguished Service Award Jenna Williams

Our Chapter Distinguished Service Award Recipient for 2022-2023 can be described as a person who is a Team Player – always looking out for the best interest of our members and the chapter, assisting members and volunteers in any way she can She has been a tremendous attribute to our chapter, contributing on many levels, while taking on a few chapter volunteer roles

There are many descriptive words that could be matched to this person and her volunteering skillset, a few that come to mind are: caring, creative, and conscientious She is the kind of volunteer that is willing to assist others and go the extra mile. Her dedication, drive and attention to detail are keen and seem to be unending! You will most likely see this volunteer at every event, although you will not find many pictures of her, because she is usually behind a camera, taking photos, to add to future newsletter content.

Since the beginning of her volunteer journey with the AMTA South Dakota Chapter in 2016, when she became the SD Chapter Newsletter Editor, Jenna Williams has taken the chapter into the “Age of Technology” and “Google”, while gently reassuring and assisting those of us who are less technologically savvy, so that we are able to continue to advance in the areas of: our chapter newsletter, “The Trained Touch”, the chapter website and the chapter social media pages. She continually finds creative ways to promote AMTA South Dakota and has a special flair for producing a well laid out, Eye-Catching, and beautifully designed newsletters, promotional flyers / cards, and much more.

For all of your time, effort, creativity, donations, sleepless nights, and everything else you give, have given, and bring to the table as an AMTA SD Volunteer and to our chapter newsletters, we would like to say “Thank You” and we appreciate you and all you do!
