As the girls of Mount Saint Ursula travel on their journey through their high school years, one of the most important figures who make it all possible is each girl's mother. It is on this day in May that the girls are able to give their mother's a taste of their life at Mount Saint Ursula. On this Sunday Morning, the girls start off their day by at­ tending a morning mass with their mothers. The breakfast that is tra­ ditionally prepared by the fathers, welcomes the mothers and daugh­ ters to a magnificent fashion show.

The Father Daughter Dance comes around once a year. This night gets more special in the hearts of fathers and daughters alike. Most fathers cherish this moment because it may be one of the last times they ever get to share their daughter's life before she goes to college. Daughters cherish the mo­ ment because they will always be "daddy's little girl" The night starts out with dining in the cafeteria where chicken, pasta, and salad were served by the mothers of some of the daughters. Fathers got to bond not only with their daughters, but also with other fathers. Next, there was a whole night of dancing in the auditorium where the DJ played all types of music including hip-hop, salsa, and loads more. Soon the special Senior Walk took place when seniors were escorted in by their fathers while young underclass women watched on. The seniors and their fathers shared in one special dance, then the rest of the students were asked to join in. The night closed with a special song which truely proved to end a wonderful night that fathers and daughters alike will never forget. â&#x20AC;&#x201D; Sinead Cremins, '06

The Mount also helps produce the M e­ lange, a literary magazine of stu­ dents' short fiction and poems.

Retreat team is a group of seniors who teach and lead freshman activities. The seniors teach freshman the skills of friendship and love that will help them get through their next three years of high school. The Retreat Team also learns from participating in such activities. Tire AMSU Vocalists is a recently created coalition of the Academy's students who have a love for music and the talent for singing. The club was started last year and has grown not only in number but also the level of the singers' vocal skills. Eco-Sci primarily focuses on environmental problems and tries to educate the school on these issues. It is dedicated to the protection of the environment as students collect recycleablematerials. The Photo Club, comprised of members from all grades, is a club that engages the inter­ ests of girls from all levels of p h o to g ra p h ic experience, while teaching them invalu­ able skills and techniques. Members apply their skills in ca p tu rin g unforgettable m em ories at school events, such as Ring Day and Interna­ tional Night on tape. In addi­ tion, they photograph land­ scapes outside the school and visit the Botanical Gardens fre­ quently.

A team of writers as well as reporters is established to think of a topic to report on, as well as write the script. The team does their own research, writing, all gathers any pictures or graphics needed and compile them into a final product. A day is chosen when they are to film their final broadcast, which may be nominated for an award on a show called the Eddy Awards. Both the broadcast and award show are shown later in the year on television.

The Art Independent Study is available for students who are imable to join the credited course of Art Academy. Stu­ dents donate at least one work of art to aid the school's fundraiser in the spring auction and exhibit.
