Those schoolgirl days of telling tales and biting nails are gone. But in my mind, I know they will still live on and on. But how do you thank someone Who has taken you from crayons to perfume? It isn't easy, but I'll try. The time has come for closing books. And long last looks must end. Dear Class of 1982, Congratulations to each of you on your four year accomplishment at Mt. St. Ursula! Truly these have been memorable years. You have touched the lives of all of us by your enthusiasm, sincerity and earnestness as a class. You have been touched by the memories, both joyful and sad. You have suffered by the tragic death o f; Karen Marsh, your friend and classmate. Through this you have matured and learned that life has a bitter-sweet j quality to it. You have the distinction of being a part of a long tradition at Mount, the 90th class to graduate from this site. You will always remember the visit to New York of Pope john Paul II when you were sophomores. As you go forth from Mount to pursue your dreams, remember that "you are the hope of tomorrow,â€? that you can "build a beautiful city" by using your education and your gifts.
