You've given us four wonderful years at the Mount. Years in which we've grown from your little girls into your little women. Years in which we've learned a great deal more than Latin, geometry, and history; we've learned the essence of Christian life, and our duties in living it. Only with the help of our Blessed Mother, our faculty, and yourselves could we have accomplished so much. We thank you for your love, your kindness, your unselfishness, your complete comprehension of our problems. Too, we thank you for the little things: that new dress we didn't absolutely need, that "little extra'' slipped in with our allowance, that special lunch packed with such care. Above all, we thank God for allowing us to be your daughters. We sincerely pray that He will give us the grace to make you proud of us in whatever life we choose. ^ HE fast melting wax emphasizes the un wavering flame. Winter brought all the joys of a "White Christ mas . . . Strains of "Sainte Nuit” . . . the artistry of our classroom decorations . . . the fun of sending those little gifts to the needy . . . the traditional placing of the Babe in the manger . . . all contributed to give us the Christmas spirit. January marked the beginning of an exciting basketball sea son with the Varsity exhibiting its skill and good sportsmanship in victory and defeat . . . Still living and still Seniors after exams, we had our special Senior retreat conducted by one of those wonderful Jesuits, Fr. Timothy O'Dwyer, S.J. The flame leaps higher, but the wick grows shorter.

PRING'S blossoms now wreathe our candle. To add to the fresh green of the season and to make it an even "greater day” for the Irish, we paraded up Fifth Avenue with the rest of New York . . . Class day brought the savoring realization that we would soon be leaving Mount Saint Ursula . . . Easter and the school tea dance arrived in April and were closely followed by the annual Glee Club concert . . . After midterms we sailed up the river on Mt. St. Michael's boatride. The crimson and the white — waving stead ily and oh so fast!'
