Obituary Ms. Catherine Horton Davis; mother, sister and friend, answered her Father's call to come home Saturday, August 29, 2026. Catherine was born on July 22, 1943 in Hancock County, Sparta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Lee Johnson and Clifford Warren, Sr. “Biddy”, as she was affectionately called, was a lifelong member at Sandy Run A.M.E Church where she was an active member of the choir, usher board ministries and a Home Comfort Society member. Also was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and was affiliated with various other social clubs and organizations. She was married to the late Louis Davis, Sr. Catherine was also preceded in death by: son, Louis Davis, Jr.; two grandchildren: Ronnie II and Ronika. Eight siblings: JB, Tommie Lee, Tommie, David, Milton, Michael, Willie and Lawyer Johnson. In early life, she was employed in the manufacturing and healthcare industries. She retired from Central State Hospital. Catherine was a kind, candid, and loving person, who had an infectious smile and laugh. She loved her family and her friends dearly. She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters: Glenda Brown, Cynthia Davis (Roger), Joyce Fulton (Larry), Briggit Vincent (Darvin); one son: Ronnie Davis (Keisha), Siblings: Annie Mae Good, Rochelle Johnson, Calvin Johnson (Regina), Ernest Johnson and Anthony Johnson (Ceaser), Larry Warren (Janice) and Clifford Warren, Jr.; seven grandchildren: Shamoni, Ronnie Jr., Shantrell, Shakivia, (Walter) Linereccus, (Kimberly) Brittany, and Rylik; five great-grandchildren: Dejanerio, Linley, Luke, Liberty and Maleah; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very dear and close friend, Barbara McGhee.
