MWF5 Snowpaws Lookbook

A Celebration of Style Model’s Workshop Fashion-5 hosted a fashion show on Sunday, October 25, 2015, that celebrated Carrie Snowpaw, owner and designer of Snowpaws Unique Womens Clothing, and featured many of Carrie’s classic and modern designs.

Model’s Workshop Fashion-5 spotlights different designers or brands each season, working with talented models and an enthusiastic production crew, to give new to experienced models a place to practice their craft in a learning, stress-free environment.

It was also a show commemorating Carrie’s sixth year as the creative force behind the very successful Snowpaws label, so how perfect a reason to make a fuss, in the essence of the Halloween season.

In February 2009, Monica Balut created Model’s Workshop to provide free ongoing professional development for models. So this show is fitting in that some of our models were recent modeling school graduates while others have years of experience behind them.

This lookbook showcases the outfits worn in the show, and is a thank you to Carrie for her ongoing support of Model’s Workshop. We are very proud to have the opportunity to present a retrospective of her collection through the years.

We are extremely proud of the success of the Fashion-5 program, and happy to add Carrie Snowpaw to our list of incredibly talented clothing designers on Second Life.

CarrieSnowpaw Owner & Designer

Carrie Snowpaw developed a love and appreciation of Second Life fashion not long after discovering Second Life itself. The gorgeous creations she saw delighted her and spurred her imagination and desire to learn to design for herself.

Carrie’s goal when creating an outfit is simply to make herself feel beautiful, elegant and sophisticated. When she started designing her goal was to make outfits she would want to wear and never take off. And this has not changed in the past six years.

Carrie has been designing one of a kind gowns, dresses, suits and more for virtual worlds under the Snowpaws label since 2009. She is well known for her flowing romantic creations and lovely sensual drapery. Her desire to learn and push her creative talents eventually led to the creation of her own original mesh outfits.

Carrie Snowpaw has been consistently nominated for AviChoice Awards including Favorite Womens Apparel, Favorite Women’s Formal Apparel, and Favorite Petite Female Apparel since 2012, and this past year was thrilled to be nominated for Favorite Original Mesh Fashion Designer.

She is extremely proud and excited to be adding these original creations to the Snowpaws label. Carrie has also begun adding mesh body appliers and fitted mesh as well so that more people can enjoy her clothing.

Besides maintaining a popular and thriving business, Carrie has tried to support newcomers to Second Life with numerous gifts, freebies and sales, and participates in many charitable fund-raisers throughout the year for worthy causes.

Dhara + Dictata Boots

In the spirit of Halloween, Bai evokes the essence of a circus performer in this adorable original mesh outfit named “Dhara” in Black and White.

The cute, flirty skirt textured with small stripes is paired with a long sleeve no button blouse in wide block swatches.

Both skirt and top are accented with a small drop panel in matching material. A lovely little set perfect for any occasion, and comes in several color combinations.

Bai is also wearing black mesh boots with spiked heels named “Dictata”, which are beautifully textured to provide both movement and shine.

LittleGhost Little Ghost Outfit is the name of this adorable original mesh design that Kolosi wears as she brings a bit of the 50’s pinup girl out for Halloween.

The outfit includes the solid red corset with a ruffle at top and keyhole belly opening with delightful red checkered capri pants with ties at the knees.

This outfit also comes in other colors and designs. Sexy and sweet.

Neve

+ Houghton Heels Petra looks very chic in this design by Carrie named “Neve” in Black Linen.

The scooped-neck cropped top is completed with long belled sleeves. The trousers are meticulously crafted to provide a clean, polished look which could be worn for many occasions.

This outfit also comes in ice white, tan and purple!

Petra is also wearing a pair of amazing heels named “Houghton Laced-Up Heel” in Black Suede by Snowpaws. These Slink high shoes are the perfect combination of boot and shoe.

Great laces and rivets detail the front while the heels have an open back and are finished with laces surrounding the top.

Habitue + Houghton Heels

“Habitue Lace Strap Dress” in Black is an original mesh outfit worn by Jaily. This delightful short dress has bold vertical color stripes that dominate the dress and make her stand out!

The uniquely designed bodice has laced-up detailing. A matching fringed scarf is included to complete the look.

Raf

+ Boutique Trellis Shoes The name of the original mesh dress modeled by Quinty is “Raf Dress - Black Embroidery”. A lovely short cocktail dress inspired by the 1950’s silhouettes of Dior.

Feminine hour-glass shapes, elegant detailing and a sexy flirty feel, the Raf Dress is available in five different looks and is made to fit well on mesh bodies.

Finishing her styling, Quinty also wears another amazing pair of shoes from Carrie named “Boutique Trellis Shoe” in Cream Linen.

A unique and remarkable pair of high Slink enhanced shoes with open sides, and laced up front. Beautiful!

Giselle + Lita Lace Boots

Sidney is wearing an original mesh mini-dress named Giselle, a floral, bohemian, uniquely textured and styled dress.

The Slightly puffed sleeves, layered neckline and a skirt cinched at the waist has layered trim that lands mid thigh. Other colors are available in this captivating outfit.

Be sure to check out the shoes on Sidney’s feet. The name, “Lita Lace Boot” in Black Snake by Snowpaws says it all. Amazing Slink high shoes beautifully textured and very sexy!

Trim Jacket & Capri + Lita Lace Boots Styled as an over-the-top career woman, Vichonette awakens her inner ‘fashion diva’ in this design named “Fur Trim Jacket and Capri Pants” in Green Serge.

The open front, twilled woolen fabric cropped jacket is trimmed in matching fur while the belted fitted capris fall beautifully to just below the knee. Very chic!

Vichonette is wearing the “Lita Lace Boots” from Snowpaws in the Tan Leather. These Slink high mesh boots are brilliantly constructed and detailed!

Lalique + Moya Strap Heels

Bai wears a luscious purple cocktail dress named “Lalique”.

The Lalique dress has a deep v-neckline in a beautiful shade of purple and covers a gold and purple printed skirt with a slight loose fit at the hem for ease of walking.

Every woman would look and feel marvelous in this dress.

Bai also wears Snowpaws “Moya Strap Heels” in Gold—spiked heels, adorned with multiple layers of straps in front and around the ankle. Amazing!

The jumpsuit, in muted shades of cherry, gold and white, also has a deep v-neckline with a wide belt at her waist.

The long wide pants are perfect for a long leisurely afternoon walk shopping along 5th Avenue!

To complete her look, Jaily also wears Snowpaws “Moya Strap Heels” in Gold. Amazing!

Petra models for us an original mesh cocktail dress named “Notto Rosso”, superbly worn with her Maitreya mesh body and Slink High Feet.

This very feminine and exquisite short dress, in a beautiful floral lace pattern, has a squared low neckline, bare back and intricate strap details around the collar and arms.

Minuet + Nonno Heels

Kolosi is wearing a fabulous black outfit named “Minuet Corset Dress”, which comes with Omega and TMP body appliers.

This ensemble has a black system turtleneck sweater with ruffled sleeve attachments, and a skirt compiled of system pants, a mesh panel, and flexi base attachments with the same pattern found in the corset.

The mesh animal-print corset shows off Kolosi’s curves and adds to her wild, sexy persona. This look is very edgy and chic...with a mysterious aura!

On Kolosi’s feet are onyx colored shoes named “Nonno Heels” from Snowpaws. With a wide band around the ankle and simple but intricate front straps, these shoes would be perfect with many formal outfits.

Sorciere “Sorciere” is the name given to this sparkling mesh strapless gown with fine red accents, feathers, web detailing and gorgeous web flexi skirts!

Sidney’s evil sorcerer raises from the netherworld to haunt you all in this stunning creation. Stay out of her way if you value your presence in the living world! She laughs in her strong evil tone, “HA HA HA HA HA!!!”

Sorciere’s bodice has two versions for your styling preference.

This is one dress that will make you look astonishingly beautiful, or in Sidney’s case, hauntingly deadly!

Azalea In a Snowpaws mermaid outfit named “Azalea”, Quinty floats along as a beautiful and mysterious sea creature in a brilliant colored mix of blues just like the water you would see surrounding a deserted island.

This is another alternative to the scary Halloween costume shown previously by Sidney, for those who love the mesmerizing universe ‘under the sea’.

What better way to spend a sunny day then lounging on the forbidden shores of our cryptic runway, as Quinty demonstrates in this ensemble that contains mesh tail and top, bodice, skirting and belly button gem!

Snowpaws Fantasy Collection includes this new original mesh outfit, also available in Amber and Rose colors, and many others to help you get into character this Halloween season.

+ Moya Strap Heels Vichonette is wearing a lavish, elegant golden-colored gown named “Anand”.

One shoulder strap leads down to a curvy form-fitting, one-piece gown that flairs out dramatically below the knee, paired with wispy feminine flexi skirts and lovely metallic embellishments at the chest for added flair.

Elegance Kolosi is modeling for us a stunning original mesh corset gown from Snowpaws titled “Elegance Gown” in a lovely teal patterned silk. The peplum-style corset top is trimmed in sparkles, and the fitted skirt includes a flowing flexi skirt attachment.

This gown was originally created as a Miss Virtual World gown, and Kolosi has the SL world mesmerized as she dazzles us in this gorgeous look.

Paloma Jaily is wearing a stunning gown named “Paloma” in the color of Breeze—a lovely full length mesh gown that hugs your curves and flares out to an A line skirt at the knees. The perfect silhouette!

The bodice is topped with a stunning sparkling collar in matching silk that is low cut in the back. And a gorgeous flowing skirt topped with a large silk flower flares out from the base of the collar in the back.

Rosazul Petra is wearing a gorgeous gown named “Rosazul” in the color Ice. This form fitting gown is done in vibrant fabrics inspired by South American artists. It is paired with orchids and diamonds at the waist that lead to a gorgeous flowing skirt in matching fabric that Rosazul claimed was reminiscent of music.

The skirt comes in three different lengths to match your mood.

The gown bodice is finished off with diamond and jeweled attachments and a matching crown headpiece. Perfect for the wedding of your dreams.

At the end of the show, guests were treated to a dance performance choreographed by Jena Adder to the song “Lean On” by Major Lazer & DJ Snake, and featured each of the models wearing color variations of the Rosazul gown (see next page).
