WHERE TO STAY

Frantz Hotel is located in Slussen, a great location in Södermalm and they offer Stockholm’s best hotel breakfast, the building is from 1647.

Kung Carl Hotel at central Stureplan, try to book the ice cream room designed by 3Vänner, they also have great drinks.

Dinnertime

Swedish traditional home cooking at Gyldene Freden in the heart of Gamla Stan, Old Town, Stockholm’s oldest restaurant over 300 hundred years old, the home of troubadours like Bellman and Taube.

Bar Nimes Italian-French, brasserie style hot spots, here you bump into the cool crowd.

Fine dining at Persona or Aira ”Djurgården” or fine dining with a rock’n roll experience at Punk Royale gyldenefreden.se // bar-nimes.se // chezjolie.se // personasthlm.com aira.se // punkroyale.se // Santo da Roma +46 8 15 00 30 // italiano.se ciccios.se // brasserieastoria.com

At my new favorite Italian pasta restaurant S anto da Roma they serve a real roman cacio e pepe, they also make their own pasta à la minute and you can bring some home.

Three other great Italian restaurants are Italiano and next door Papá and late dinner and party spot Ciccio’s on the same street Nybrogatan, at Astoria, you get the best Caesar salad.

Cocktails

Tjoget is considered one of the world’s best cocktail bars, I love the champagne cocktail ”Harry’s pick me up”, also you get splendid views from the rooftop at Le Hibou tjoget.com // bankhotel.se // sohohouse.com (Stockholm recently opened located in a former church, if you are members somewhere in the world you get access.)
