The Zohar, a foundational mystical text, describes moments of struggle and obscurity as necessary for growth, comparing them to seeds that must first be buried in darkness before they can sprout. Similarly, our own moments of difficulty can be sources of immense strength and transformation. Just as the Zohar teaches that darkness holds the seeds of transformation, my own life has shown me that darkness can also be a place of profound connection and care.
