This will bring more direct resources to the researchers supported by Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies. They have reached the promising stage of preparation for a first clinical trial in 2022, with the reasonable hope of changing the lives of thousands of young people and families. We have come a long way since the first edition of ONLY WATCH in 2005. In the weeks preceding the auction, the watches are presented to the public, media, and horological e nthusiasts,

A WORD FROM LUC I always start the word of welcome on each edition of ONLY WATCH (OW) with a grateful thought from us all for the person who has inspired and participated to this fantastic a ltruistic impulse: the courageous-admirable-handsome-funny-and-kind Paul Pettavino. His light hovers over ONLY WATCH.

The acts of altruism, c ompassion and empathy seem to have accelerated since the pandemic hit. They are a reason for optimism. They speak to humanity’s enduring emotional intelligence, have the power to positively shape our lives, and can be applied in a sustainable way to help each other and the planet. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of M onaco, ONLY WATCH, now in its 9th edition, is one concrete example that, with • a gentle, human touch, • an easy to understand motto: « create beauty to do good », • a clear goal: « progress with patience and determination towards therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy »,

• an ethical and identical approach with each member of the OW community, • organizational costs topping 1 to 2% maximum of the result, we can achieve incredibly b eautiful things, raise considerable amounts of money, and make friends, making it a way of life. This year, we have the great privilege to gather 54 brands, as well as people who have collaborated to create some of these unique timepieces, to raise funds for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Thanks to the generosity of the watchmakers, donors, partners, and the extraordinary international press coverage this group is creating again a unique momentum in the watch industry. Have a look at the pieces and you will agree with me.

during a p romotional tour that starts in Monaco, c ontinues in Dubai, Tokyo, S ingapore, Hong Kong, Macau and finishes in Geneva with an auction in collaboration with CHRISTIE’S, on 6 November 2 PM. Off we go to a stratospheric new ONLY WATCH edition! Thank you for your support.

A WORD FROM CHRISTIE’S Only Watch is exactly what the world needs today and it was an exhilarating feeling to see the bright orange color of its 2021 logo popping up on our emails at the darkest hour of Fall 2020.

Since our first meeting with Luc Pettavino, we have been inspired by this unique project born to provide hope, find a cure to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and possibly other diseases by revealing the very best in all stakeholders. Watchmakers in the first place but also p hilanthropists, collectors, journalists and industry representatives. Christie’s is thankful and honored to be Only Watch auctioneer of choice again for the 2021 Edition which is sure to gather unparalleled interest in the world of horology.

Only Watch has not only become a defining moment in the Watches industry in terms of unique collaborations, breathtaking innovations and design prowess; it is also a time capsule where competition is only geared towards generously creating and acquiring wonderful timepieces, ones that were never made before and will never be made again.

digital, press and social media outreach, a fantastic momentum for the November 6 auction in Geneva.

TICYCLO-DNA

A conformationally constrained nucleotide analog that deviates from natural DNA by the presence of three additional carbon atoms between C5 and C3. Created by Pr. Christian Leumann – University of Bern

RESEARCH STATEMENT, COMMITMENT & PROGRESS New therapeutic paradigms, based on knowledge of genes, have emerged over the past thirty years. First, non-specific approaches, designed for the same nosological framework, for example aimed at protecting a given cell type through the in-situ production of growth-or survival-factors. Then specific gene therapy approaches consisting in introducing into the cells of the affected tissues a palliative substitution gene for the mutated gene. Increasing knowledge of the precise nature of mutations, while increasing the complexity of genetics, has p aradoxically simplified the therapeutic proposition by shifting the drug target to the immediate product of the mutated gene, its pre-messenger RNA. In humans, nearly half of the mutations disrupt the splicing/ processing of pre-messenger RNAs and/or the reading frame of the resulting mRNAs; these mutations can result in the inactivation of splice sites, the creation of cryptic splice sites, or even shift the reading frame of the final messenger. As a result, the absence of one or more exons, the inclusion of cryptic exons, or the retention of introns lead to non-functional mRNAs and/ or pathogenic proteins. In some cases, mutations may nevertheless remove a significant portion of a gene without shifting the reading frame of the ensuing truncated RNA, which can be translated end-to-end into a shorter protein. This situation is encountered in patients with Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD), a myopathy much less severe than Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, where deletions in the DMD gene, sometimes very large, give rise to shortened but still functional dystrophins. For understanding, you can picture dystrophin as a damper spring inside muscle fibers connecting the outer membrane to the internal scaffold (also called c ytoskeleton). In becker patients with deletions preserving the r eading frame, it is as if mutations had only caused the loss of few turns of the spring, which is therefore less p owerful than the

original but it is actually in place and performs its function as best it can. Understanding the mechanisms of pre-messenger RNA maturation has opened up new therapeutic strategies whose field of application is expanding rapidly. For example, it is now possible to manipulate nascent mRNAs with high selectivity in the presence of Antisense oligonucleotides (ASO) masking precisely sequences determining their splicing. Such action (also called exon-skipping) can be applied to restore BMD-like dystrophins in DMD patterns by not including one of the exons at the boundary of the deletion during RNA splicing. ASOs typically consist of a small chain of DNA- or RNA-type nucleotides (15 to 30 bases): natural DNA or RNA being fragile and rapidly degraded in the body fluids, it is preferred to use chemically modified nucleotides which are more stable in cells, thus agreeing a lasting effect on splicing. Various chemistries have been used for the synthesis of ASOs, the former being already evaluated in humans. However, these first versions being not completely satisfactory in terms of risk/benefit balance, the AMM/ONLY WATCH resourcefulness took the initiative to strongly support the rising of a novel technological p latform for the synthesis of new kind of ASOs. This support has r esulted in s ignificant funding to many a cademic laboratories around the world and the creation of two entities (Synthena in Switzerland and SQY Therapeutics in France) under the control of the AMM and other patient o rganizations for the clinical development of future drugs. This very unique consortium, for which the social purpose s urpasses the economic drive and the value created is put at the service of the cause of patients, has succeeded in setting up a pre-industrial environment for the provision of tricyclo-DNA, a new type of nucleotide a nalogues for ASOs, which display excellent affinity to

their target RNA and satisfactory safety index. Dozens of researchers have participated in this adventure for more than ten years, and many others will join as this technology is applicable to many conditions, some other rare diseases and also cancers. We have never been so close to the goal and a first clinical trial is expected in 2022 with a new ASO-tricyclo-DNA designed for DMD. We are aware that other therapeutic approaches are being developed for DMD and emulation is strong in the field. As parents or as AMM/ONLY WATCH companions, we all want effective treatments for DMD boys, as soon as possible, no matter where they come from or who finds them. In the meantime, we remain committed to our research and to the laboratories that we support. Too often we have experienced break-through announcements that ultimately turned out to be disappointing. For these reasons, we will continue to fund doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships (eg, Paul Pettavino scholarships) in basic research, to co-fund natural history projects on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and clinical trials carried out by hospital groups to improve patient care and quality of life. This is us, a group of men & women dedicated to find a cure on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy & other pathologies. And we will never thank you all enough for the freedom of thoughts and actions you’ve been offering us since 2005 when ONLY WATCH took place for the first time.

THIS IS THE VERY FIRST CHRONOMÈTRE CONTEMPORAIN II, A WATCH THAT PRESERVES THE STYLE OF THE ORIGINAL MODEL, BUT WITH AN ENTIRELY NEW CALIBRE FEATURING AN ADDITIONAL COMPLICATION

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE CHRONOMÈTRE CONTEMPORAIN II • RRCC II SPECIFICITIES Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain II will be the first of the series II to be delivered. Platinum case made by J-P Hagmann with a unique champagne-hued, translucent grand feu enamel with “Gravé – Gratté” surfaces. CASE Platinum DIAL The gold base plate made in two parts is finished with a “Gravé - Gratté“ decoration technique. Coated with a champagne-hued, translucent grand feu enamel. CALIBRE RRCC II BRACELET Leather

Like its predecessor, the Chronomètre Contemporain II (RRCCII) is an elegant gentleman’s watch focused on chronometric performance while being executed to the highest possible quality – with the movement contained within a case made by Jean-Pierre Hagmann. Every aspect of the watch is manufactured, constructed, and finished in a traditional manner, and executed by hand whenever possible. Visually the movement shares the distinctive aesthetics of the original RRCC, with a focus on symmetry and haut de gamme decoration. But the RRCCII movement is entirely new, devised from the ground up to have an independent jumping seconds. The calibre is equipped with twin barrels, each with its own gear train - one for timekeeping and the other for the jumping seconds. Just above the twin barrels is an elongated, winding click spring that’s rounded and mirrorpolished by hand – one of many details within the movement that illustrate its uncompromising quality.

EXPERIENCE: The owner of the unique timepiece will be invited to discover and visit the Besançon Astronomical Observatory.

ARTYA ICONIC WATCH & GUITAR MADE WITH THE WORLD’S GREATEST GUITARIST

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE IS THAT SO ? • SON OF SOUND GUITAR JOHN MCLAUGHLIN UNIQUE EDITION SPECIFICITIES The uniqueness of this ArtyA Guitar is due to the collaboration with a legendary musician, translated into a unique piece hosting many exceptional skills.

This unique version (1/1) of the ArtyA Guitar Watch is fully handcrafted in collaboration with John McLaughlin, the legendary guitarist and Luc Pettavino’s friend, without whom this project would not have been possible. Blandenier, a Geneva-based workshop, has agreed to join this charitable project by producing this unique dial inspired by the most mythical album of the guitarist. 110 hours of hand painting work later, these bright colours and hypnotic patterns constitute a dazzling miniature painting. Under this realisation, the ArtyA avant-gardist chronograph movement is activated with push buttons representing guitar keys. John McLaughlin matched the ArtyA masterpiece with his personal guitar, built by world-renowned luthier Paul Reed Smith, the Stradivari of guitar making. Certain guitars built by Paul are considered works of art and have been bought by collectors worldwide. The artwork on the watch face and the guitar was created by Marq Spusta, a San Francisco-based artist whose art is collected worldwide and features on numerous record albums and posters.

CASE Steel 316L DLC blackened and 18K gold. The case, a revolutionary iconic patented shape, is exhibited in museums across the world as an emblematic timeless design. The four active pushers inspired by guitar «tuning pegs» have the following functions: start/stop (chronograph), reset (chronograph), hours change, date change. The signature of John McLaughlin is engraved on the case back. Triple anti-reflective treatment of the sapphire crystal. TIME ONLY WITH INDIRECT CENTRE SECONDS ENCASED IN A 18K PINK GOLD ROUND CASE WITH STEPPED LUGS WITH A TWO-TONE PINK SECTOR DIAL WITH PINK GOLD AND BLUED STEEL HANDS

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE ADC21 ONLY WATCH SPECIFICITIES The whole watch (case, calibre and dial) has been especially created for the Only Watch auction. Creating unique timepieces is one of AdC core values, so the idea to create one so special has been an honour that will remain in our memories forever. CASE Handmade 18K pink gold round case with stepped lugs with concave bezel and case back. DIAL Two-tone pink sector dial with 18K pink gold leaf minute and hour hands and blued steel seconds hand. CALIBRE Handmade Cal. 21, indirect centre seconds.

The concept was to create a unique timepiece that symbolises the human warmth behind the Only Watch charity auction. This warmth, combined with a delicate elegance, has been the main axis we had in mind throughout the creation process of the AdC21 Only Watch. True to this concept, we created a specially designed new case in the warmest material; 18K pink gold. The stepped shape of the lugs gives a delicate touch to the overall design that is completed by a timeless two-tone pink sector dial with leaf pink gold and a blued steel hands. The result is a noticeable “pink on pink” look. The aesthetics of this indirect centre seconds calibre is characterised by the beauty of the 18K pink gold-plated tone of the bridges combined with silver accents of the rhodium plated wheels and other parts. A rich mixture of high-end traditional finishes like handmade frosting, “anglage, perlage, étirage des flancs, colimaçonage”, polished countersinks, black polish and polished teeth make this timepiece unique.

PROTOTYPE UNIQUE CASE AND APPLIED BREGUET INDEXES DIAL, 40’S VENUS 150 MONOPUSHER RENEWED IN SWITZERLAND. THE SOUL OF THE PAST MIXED INTO A UNIQUE NEW TIMEPIECE FOR ONLY WATCH

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE BALTIC PULSOMETER CHRONOGRAPH MONOPUSHER 1/1 SPECIFICITIES Only one marking is appearing on the dial: « 1/1 ». A simple and powerful mention that explains everything ONLY WATCH is about. CASE Stainless steel case 36 mm diameter Sapphire caseback DIAL Breguet applied indexes • Glossy black dial Pulsometer scale • 30min-counter at 3 o’clock • Small seconds at 9 o’clock Central chronograph counter.

BALTIC is happy to join the ONLY WATCH auction to help fight Duchenne Muscular dystrophy. As an analogy we have created a unique Monopusher Pulsometer chronograph using an old 1940’s Venus 150 monopusher movement. This scale is used in conjunction with the watch’s chronograph complication to provide medical information. This pulsometer scale is calibrated for 30 heartbeats (or pulsations). Start the chronograph timer and count the beats until you get to 30 pulsations. Stop the chrono and you will read the heart rate in beats per minute. Pulsations are at the heart of any living entities: inside this chronograph beats an old Venus from 1940’s which has been doing its job for more than 80 years. The Type XX Only Watch 2021 flyback chronograph is notable for its specific architecture, meticulously reproducing the codes of the first generation of civilian Type XX timepieces. The bidirectional steel bezel comes fitted with a 12-hour scale, along with a luminous triangular marker. This unique 38.30 mm piece comes equipped with a straight crown as seen in the Type XX civilian-use models, while the shape of the hands leads them to be colloquially referred to as “syringes”. KLEPCYS DICE ONLY WATCH IS AN UNPRECEDENTED MONOPUSHER CHRONOGRAPH CAPABLE OF MEASURING TWO SHORT INTERVALS OF TIME INDEPENDENTLY OR IN SYNCHRONY, POWERED BY THE NEW AUTOMATIC MANUFACTURE CALIBRE CYR 718

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE KLEPCYS DICE ONLY WATCH REF. 539.508.OW.A SPECIFICITIES KLEPCYS DICE ONLY WATCH is a monopusher chronograph for the measurement of two independent elapsed times which are activated and regulated by the pushers of the twin crowns. KLEPCYS DICE ONLY WATCH is an unprecedented monopusher chronograph capable of measuring two short intervals of time independently or in synchrony. Framed in a Titanium case, its open-worked dial reveals the new in-house automatic calibre CYR718. This timepiece is equipped with two independent chronograph movements and two display axes, one corresponding to the chronograph seconds and the second to the 30-minute counter of the double chronograph. The chronographs are activated by two column wheels, visible on the dial side, which in turn activate the different levers that move the gears of the seconds and 30-minute chronograph display. A special system of insulation ensures precision measurement of the two chronographs which work independently without exerting any influence on one another. To free up as much space as possible for the dual chronograph complication, Jean-François Mojon conceived a specifically compact concentric mechanism of the motion work which is coaxial to the axes of the hands.

A FASCINATING GRANDE COMPLICATION WHOSE MECHANISM IS FOR THE FIRST TIME VISIBLE ON THE DIAL, COMBINED WITH A CUTTING-EDGE DESIGN, ONLY WATCH 2021 VIVID COLOURS AND THE CZAPEK “COURAGE EVERY SECOND” UNIQUE SIGNATURE

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE ANTARCTIQUE RATTRAPANTE “SUNRISE” SPECIFICITIES The first open-work dial side split-second chronograph with a patented satellite minute wheel train and a patent-pending splitsecond mechanism. CASE Stainless steel case DIAL Open-worked split-second chronograph on the dial side • CVD-coated orange split-second main plate • Minutes ring and subdials in sapphire glass with fumé coating.

Collaboration, openness and creative thinking are at the heart of Czapek’s creative process. The idea of making a timepiece combining the vivid colours of the Only Watch 2021 edition – yellow, orange and red – and the latest mechanical innovation in the Antarctique line, the unique open-work dial side split-second chronograph, came to life step by step. The mechanism concept, a project initiated by Czapek, is the result of a long-term fruitful partnership with Chronode. For the first time, the ballet of cams, levers and wheels of the split-second mechanism has been positioned on the dial side, a unique feast for the eyes of watch aficionados. The timepiece’s esthetic concept, for its part, took shape after exchanging with Czapek’s manufacturing partners Positive Coating, the CVD “NanoDeCo” technology experts in La Chaux de Fonds. And then the whole design game started, with a vision: creating something crazy… and attractive at the same time: the Antarctique Rattrapante “Sunrise”, a new dawn for the brand, aiming to help find a new dawn in the research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

CALIBRE Czapek’s new proprietary SHX6 calibre created in collaboration with Chronode. KIND OF MAGIC EFLECTS REFLECTS THE ENCHANTING ENCOUNTE ENCOUNTER BETWEEN TWO WATCHMAKES, WATCHMAKERS, DENIS FLAGEOLLET AND KAI KARI VOUTILAINEN, BASED ON MUTUAL ESPECT, RESPECT, A COMMON VISION OF WATCHMAKING AND A UNIQUE SENSE OF INDEPENDENCE

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE KIND OF MAGIC • KIND OF MAGIC FOR ONLY WATCH 2021

In support of the Only Watch biennial charity auction of unique timekeepers, De Bethune and Voutilainen, two beautiful independent manufactures have decided to join their strength and know-how while respecting this tradition of independence and keeping a common vision of watchmaking. From a mutual respect for each other’s work, a unique work of art with two faces was born, offering a similar time on both sides, but a somewhat different display. On one side, as on the other, the two independent watchmakers are perfectly distinguished by their own code. Featuring a sleek, contemporary design that gives pride of place to the mechanics. It is a new reading of the hour centered around the balance, accompanied by the minute index on the periphery. On the other side, we discover a dial with a deadbeat second and an original display of hours and minutes that breaks the familiar code of instant reading of the time. Hands superimposed where we do not expect them, equal angles between the hands when they should evolve. This face allows us to appreciate the time by capturing our attention. Totally bewitching!

SPECIFICITIES Two dials, two different watchmaking identities: this perfectly reversible watch embodies the union between two distinct but identical watchmaking worlds. CASE Polished Grade 5 Titanium DIAL DE BETHUNE SIDE: Black hour ring with rose gold index • Black minutes dial with rose gold colour transfer • Display: hand-polished and blued titanium hours and minutes indicators • Peripheral minutes indication • Hours indication centered on balance wheel. VOUTILAINEN SIDE: Engine-turned dial by hand made from solid silver • Gold indexes • Rotating minute disc has matching colour with case • Turquoise dial has galvanic colour on it • Gold hour and minute hands • Steel second hand. CALIBRE Dual front and back display of hours and minute, jumping seconds • Isogone display • 4 days power reserve, ensured by a selfself-regulating regulating twin barrel • Titanium balance wheel with white gold inserts, optimised for temperature temperature differences and air penetration • Balance-spring at terminal curve • Balance-spring with fl flat Silicon escape wheel. BRACELET Extra-supple leather DIMENSION 43.3 mm ESTIMATE

COLLABOATION: COLLABORATION: Denis Flageollet: “Kari and I share the bloodline of watchmaking know-how passed on by the man who taught us both: Charles Meylan. I am pleased that we are combining our experience with that of Voutilainen for the beautiful cause represented by Only Watch 2021, and delighted by this moment of sharing”. Kari Voutilainen: “I am happy and proud to be able to share our skills with Denis. Our mentor Charles Meylan would doubtless be very proud of us...”.

ON AN ORIGINAL IDEA (“INVENIT”) FROM FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA, “FECIT” BY FRANÇOIS-PAUL JOURNE

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE FFC BLUE SPECIFICITIES A unique Tantalum case and blue hand, in the same vein as other F.P.Journe Only Watch timepieces in years past. CASE Tantalum, unique case exclusively developed for Only Watch. DIAL Instantaneous digital hours indicated by an automaton blue hand, unique piece exclusively developed for Only Watch, rotating minutes. CALIBRE Automatic FFC 1300.3 in 18K rose Gold. Unidirectional oscillating weight in 22K 5N Gold, engraved Ambroise Paré (1509-1590) & F.F.Coppola. BRACELET Ψ Orange alligator strap In 2021, F.P.Journe celebrates the 20th anniversary of the automatic Octa Calibre 1300 in all its forms. This latest opus is the ultimate version of the legendary model, with an automaton powered solely by the Octa movement’s mainspring. As one might expect, this was no easy task. The minutes are driven by a rotating disk located at 12 o’clock, while the mobile fingers appear or disappear instantaneously, indicating the hours by their position. The fingers were inspired by a mechanical hand created by Ambroise Paré (1509-1590), the father of modern surgery. “This watch was born in 2012 while having dinner at Francis Ford Coppola’s house in the Napa Valley. He asked me if it could be possible to tell time with a hand in a watch. I replied that the idea was interesting and required thinking about it. But how to display 12 hours with 5 fingers? It was not an easy matter and this complex challenge inspired and motivated me. Once I figured it out, Francis immediately sent the sketches for the fingers positions. After more than 2 years, I could finally focus on “Fecit”. After 7 years of development, I am proud to present the FFC prototype”.

THE GRANDE SECONDE SKELET-ONE TOURBILLON «ONLY WATCH» FINDS THE PERFECT HARMONY BETWEEN A COMPLICATION AND CENTURIES-OLD ATELIERS D’ART. ITS CONTEMPORARY SKELETONISATION REVEALS A FLYING TOURBILLON AND A PLIQUE-À-JOUR ENAMEL DIAL UNIQUE IN THE WORLD OF WATCHMAKING

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE GRANDE SECONDE SKELET-ONE TOURBILLON «ONLY WATCH» J013523243 SPECIFICITIES This is the only Grande Seconde Skelet-One model equipped with a flying tourbillon and a plique-à-jour enamel dial entirely handcrafted in the Jaquet Droz Ateliers d’Art. CASE 18K red gold case The Grande Seconde Skelet-One Tourbillon aesthetic architecture is as technical as it is unique. For Only Watch, Jaquet Droz put to work its Ateliers d’Art as well, in order to produce a highly exclusive plique-à-jour dial, made specially for the famous charity sale. The composition is not formed of a single piece of enamel; rather it is made up of cells of different colors and shapes. These cells are separated by gold cloisons. With no metal backing, the composition is a standalone piece similar to a stained glass window. Every tone of enamel has been painstakingly selected for the model and fired at a very high temperature several times in a row before the ultimate polishing step. The latter requires a rare dexterity in order to control the risks of breaking the enamel. The tourbillon cage follows the geometry of the skeleton movement, with a triple cross shape which, once a minute, aligns perfectly with its bridges.

The hand-wound Calibre K.22-0 has been developed from scratch. At its heart is a Martian tourbillon with an “alpha” carriage, as used in all of Konstantin Chaykin’s tourbillons. For this watch, Konstantin Chaykin created a unique skeletonised dial with Joker-indication, the face of the Joker-Martian, with the world’s first Martian calendar device, working based on the algorithms of Thomas Gangale’s calendar system. Ludovic Ballouard’s philosophy is to live for the present and his watches reflect this by only displaying the present hour with the same desire to present a more unusual way of reading time. On his patented jumping hour Half Time, the hour numerals are cut by two counter-rotating disks that only align correctly at 12 o’clock to display the current hour. The watch therefore has no hour hand. Retrograde minutes in the bottom half of the dial complete the displays. For Only Watch 2021 Ballouard’s unique piece «Vinyl 33 Tours Only Watch» has transformed the dial into a vinyl record on a turntable: the counter-rotating disks displaying hours become a record while a Titanium tonearm moves across the record while displaying retrograde minutes. This will be a piece inspired by the theme of music, which has always been a magical moment for everyone.

MB&F HAS TRANSFORMED ITS HOROLOGICAL MACHINE NO.10 – AKA HM10 BULLDOG – INTO A PANDA BEAR, ONE OF THE RAREST AND CUTEST OF THE WORLD’S MAMMALS, MUCH LOVED BY CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE HM10 PANDA ONLY WATCH • PIÈCE UNIQUE SPECIFICITIES Unique features: stainless steel and Titanium case with black and white lacquer, panda ears and tail, Only Watch engraving.

HM10’s rounded, compact body lends itself perfectly to the shape of the cuddly panda; the top section is coated in black and white lacquer to mimic the animal’s colouring. To accommodate the lacquer, the top section of the standard Titanium case had to be crafted for this Pièce Unique in stainless steel. Other unique features include two black Titanium panda ears, added atop the sapphire crystal dome, and a ceramic tail machined from Grade 5 silicon nitride. Much like the panda’s unmistakable eyes, two black aluminium time-display domes dominate the face of the watch – a nod to the other use of the word ‘panda’ in watchmaking, where white dials with black counters are called panda dials. Other panda bear features include flexible “legs” that wrap firmly around your wrist and panda teeth that are constantly munching on bamboo shoots; the teeth also indicate the power reserve.

COLLABORATION: The HM10 Panda is being offered together with unique works of art by multidisciplinary designer Lee Yuen-Rapati – well-known in the watchmaking world as @OneHourWatch on Instagram – who has graciously created a series of illustrations inspired by the HM10 Panda specially for the auction. MB&F has been following Lee Yuen-Rapati’s work for quite some time. Lee recently did a live drawing of an HM10 Bulldog during a Zoom session with RedBar, which gave MB&F the idea to do this special collaboration for Only Watch.

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE ONLY WATCH MORITZ GROSSMANN SPECIFICITIES Silver-plating by friction: a traditional, rare finishing practice with unparalleled radiance. The calibre 100.1 with hand-engraved solid gold balance cock. CASE Polished stainless steel DIAL Silver-plating by friction CALIBRE 100.1 Only a handful of skilled artisans still master the sophisticated art of silver-plating by friction today. This traditional finishing technique from the 19th century was used by the gifted Glashütte watchmaking pioneer Moritz Grossmann during his lifetime in his high-quality pendulum watches. The dial has now been friction silver-plated by master craftsmen in Glashütte and brought into the modern era. This form of finishing creates a fine-grained yet velvety surface. It reflects the incident light without dazzling, ensuring that every minute detail of the dial can be read with ease. Embellished with large Roman numerals, the dial also bears the original ‘M. Grossmann’ logo from 1875. Manually crafted lance-shaped hands in an annealed brown-violet hue are a nod to traditions of the past. The balance cock is made of solid gold. True to the finest Glashütte tradition, the piece is decorated with tiny floral motifs executed by master craftsmen.

Made of Titanium, the hand-finished haute horlogerie movement is deliberately left visible on the caseback. To express his own vision and contribute to the evolution of the tradition, Romain has created his new calibre influenced by the historical “Finger Bridge” design. Inspired by the Logical one calibre, awarded at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix in 2013, the movement features a stop balance with a similar snail cam design visible from the back side. This new model is therefore the Speake-Marin travel watch per excellence. Orange has been chosen as a symbol of energy and power, referring to the Sun colour and its heating energy, which is the centre of the solar system. Orange also symbolizes life and hope to fight DMD thanks to the very encouraging results of the research against it. Last but not least, the Sun is for ages the reference for the chronometry and the time split. Speake-Marin took the inspiration of the design from the Black architecture trend which can be found in megacities like London, NYC or Shanghai, playing with black and grey applications on the case and the bridges.

Underneath the surface, and visible through the largest sapphire case back mounted on a Monaco, the respect that TAG Heuer has for traditional watchmaking is on full display. The unique Heuer 02 calibre, the first to be fitted with a carbon hairspring, is hand-finished using 10 different techniques including a distinctive gratté finish giving the impression of a chequered flag. This is completed by a unique oscillating mass in the form of the TAG Heuer shield which is hand finished and hand painted in the gradient shades of Only Watch 2021.

TRILOBE AND DANIEL BUREN OPPOSE FORMES AND COLOURS, DISTURB THE VIEW AND QUESTION THE MIND IN A UNIQUE ARTWORK. ART AND WATCHMAKING IN RECIPROCAL FORCES

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE LA RÉCIPROQUE, TRILOBE PAR DANIEL BUREN

Front View

Back View

SPECIFICITIES Daniel Buren has very few collaborations to his credit. But for the Only Watch cause, the artist proposes a unique creation, in immediate dialogue with the “X-Centricity” of Trilobe.

It is from a desire for reciprocity that the Trilobe par Daniel Buren project was born: to combine a young watchmaking House with a world-renowned Artist. Around a scarlet beating heart, imagine a duality between the technicality of the watchmaker and the unique proposal of the Artist. It is, above all, the exhilarating prospect to realise a unique artwork to serve a great cause.

CASE Alternating black and white aluminum frame. The back of the clock is protected by glass. The clock can either be fixed on a wall or stand on a table.

«La Réciproque» is a true sensory experience: Forms, colours and meanings find their reciprocal. Hours, minutes, and seconds dance around each other. Time passes and its form is released. Black and white marry to the beating of a red heart. Verticality is amused by circularity. The frantic race of the «X-Centric» rings overlaps the verticality of the 8.7cm wide strips. The gaze focuses and circulates to invite one to widen its field of vision. Shapes finally come together twice a day, at the time when it all began, 2:13pm.

DIAL Three eccentric and movable rings slide, each of them in its own position (hours, minutes, seconds), following its own counterclockwise path without ever resting. Hands are replaced by three non-aligned Trilobe index. CALIBRE Designed as the scarlet beating heart of the artwork, this mechanical calibre is a unique creation, combining the architectural codes dear to Trilobe with the artistic vision of the Sculptor Daniel Buren • The D-Centric calibre is designed in France and entirely handmade by Swiss watchmakers • In the purest horological tradition, the clock is equipped with a constant-force escapement, while the barrel has been doubled to provide an eight-day power reserve • It features the excellent finishes of traditional watchmaking, with hand-polishing, diamond-bevelled bridges, as well as sunburst barrels and micro-blasted plates. Balance frequency: 2.5hz • Reserve: 8 days Movement components: 590 • Jewels: 19 DIMENSION Calibre: Diameter: 23,5 cm • Thickness: 4 cm Clock: large 30 cm x long 30 cm x 5,15 cm

COLLABORATION: Considered one of the most recognised French Artist on the international scene, Daniel Buren has been moving his famous stripes around the world with nearly 3,000 exhibitions, each time creating both enthusiasm and controversy. It is to honour the Only Watch project that the Trilobe watchmaking House and the Sculptor Daniel Buren have decided to offer a unique and meaningful collaboration. This will convince us that this reciprocity between art and watchmaking, is as beautiful as it is between audacity and generosity.

THIS YEAR, THE TIMEPIECE AUCTIONED BY ULYSSE NARDIN FOR ONLY WATCH IS NOT A WRISTWATCH BUT A WACKY HIGH-FLYING CLOCKMAKER’S OBJECT, A WORK OF ART, A PIECE OF DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE, A TOY, QUITE SIMPLY: THE UFO, A TABLE CLOCK READY TO WELCOME YOU ON BOARD FOR A NEW ENTERTAINING ODYSSEY, IN A “UNIQUE PIECE” VERSION WITH AN ORANGE HUE

MODEL NAME / REFERENCE UFO • 9023-900LE-5A-OW UNIQUE PIECE : 1/1

This year, the timepiece auctioned by Ulysse Nardin for Only Watch is not a wristwatch but a wacky high-flying clockmaker’s object, a work of art, a piece of design and architecture, a toy, quite simply: the UFO, a table clock ready to welcome you on board for a new entertaining odyssey, in a “unique piece” version with an orange hue. Indeed, the electric orange palette of Only Watch has sprung out in touches on the Ulysse Nardin UFO! The out-of-the-ordinary object, venerated by traditional clock lovers and acclaimed when it was released in April 2021, is already sold-out in its metallic blue version of which the house produced only 75 pieces. The UFO is making an energetic return to centre stage for the auction patronised by H.R.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, established by the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy. The spherical aluminum base of the clock on which the blown glass dome is secured by a bayonet system, is made orange by a special anodizing surface treatment. The three connecting cylinders and the three lower ties of the movement have also been coloured orange. The power reserve disk, the decorative insert with the Ulysse Nardin emblem • The anchor – also coloured orange. The three dials are also painted, but with a mat appearance unlike the other metallic orange elements. A unique piece, exclusively produced for the occasion, it will be auctioned in November 2021. Its pop details remind us that the orange color is stimulating and full of joy. A call to the nonchalance of sunny days. As if illuminated, energized and sunlit, the UFO sways in the most refined way. So, with this orange version, this is a golden opportunity to acquire a unique original of this art object.

You must also pay all costs, expenses, losses, damages and legal fees we/AMM have to pay or may suffer and any shortfall in AMM’s commission on the resale; (iii) pay AMM an amount up to the net proceeds payable in respect of the amount bid by your default in which case you acknowledge and understand that Christie’s will have all of the rights of AMM to pursue you for such amounts; (iv) hold you legally responsible for the purchase price and may begin legal proceedings to recover it together with other losses, interest, legal fees and costs as far as we or AMM are allowed by law; (v) we can take what you owe us from any amounts which we or any company in the Christie’s Group may owe you (including any deposit or other part-payment which you have paid to us); (vi) we will reveal your identity and contact details to AMM; (vii) we can reject at any future auction any bids made by or on behalf of the buyer or to obtain a deposit from the buyer before accepting any bids; (viii) to exercise all the rights and remedies of a person holding security over any property in our possession owned by you, whether by way of pledge, security interest or in any other way as permitted by the law of the place where such property is located. You will be deemed to have granted such security to us and we may retain such property as collateral security for your obligations to us; and (ix) Christie’s or AMM can take any other action deemed necessary or appropriate. (b) If you make payment in full after the due date, and we/ AMM choose to accept such payment you may be charged storage costs in accordance with paragraphs G(c). G - COLLECTION AND STORAGE (a) All lots post auction will be stored with Ferrari Expeditions SA. You should collect your lot as soon as reasonably possible after the date of the auction, but please note that lots of Swiss origin will be returned to the manufacturer for servicing immediately after the auction and will only be available for collection after 6 December 2021. (c) You may not collect any lot unless and until you have made full and clear payment of all amounts due to us and/ or Ferrari Expeditions SA. (d) Nothing in this paragraph is intended to limit any rights of Christie’s or AMM under paragraph F4. H - TRANSPORT AND SHIPPING 1 - SHIPPING Ferrari Expeditions SA will organize all shipping quotes and arrangements on behalf of buyers. They can be contacted on tel: +41 78 722 26 27; customerservice.gva@ ferrarigroup.net

2 - EXPORT AND IMPORT (a) Any lot sold at auction may be affected by laws on exports from the country in which it is sold and the import restrictions of other countries. Many countries require a declaration of export for property leaving the country and/or an import declaration on entry of property into the country. You alone are responsible for getting advice about and meeting the requirements of any laws or regulations which apply to exporting or importing any lot prior to bidding. If you are refused a licence or there is a delay in getting one, you must still pay us in full for the lot. (b) Lots made of protected species Lots made of or including (regardless of the percentage) endangered and other protected species of wildlife are marked with the symbol ~ in the catalogue. Such lots may require import and export permits as set out in Section H(2)(a) above. Please note that lots are marked as a convenience to you, but we do not accept liability for errors or for failing to mark lots. I - OUR LIABILITY TO YOU (a) We give no warranty in relation to any statement made, or information given, by us or our representatives or employees, about any lot and, as far as we are allowed by law, all warranties and other terms which may be added to this agreement by law are excluded. AMM’s warranties contained in paragraph E1 are their own and we do not have any liability to you in relation to those warranties. (b) (i) We are not responsible to you for any reason (whether for breaking this agreement or any other matter relating to your purchase of, or bid for, any lot) other than in the event of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by us or other than as expressly set out in these conditions of sale; or (ii) We do not give any representation, warranty or guarantee or assume any liability of any kind in respect of any lot with regard to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, description, size, quality, condition, attribution, authenticity, rarity, importance, medium, provenance, exhibition history, literature, or historical relevance. Except as required by local law, any warranty of any kind is excluded by this paragraph. (c) In particular, please be aware that our written and telephone bidding services, Christie’s LIVE™, condition reports, currency converter and saleroom video screens are free services and we are not responsible to you for any error (human or otherwise), omission or breakdown in these services. (d) We have no responsibility to any person other than a buyer in connection with the purchase of any lot. (e) If, in spite of the terms in paragraphs (a) to (d) above, we are found to be liable to you for any reason, we shall not have to pay more than the purchase price paid by you to us. We will not be responsible to you for any reason for loss of profits or business, loss of opportunity or value, expected savings or interest, costs, other damages, or expenses. J - OTHER TERMS 1 - OUR ABILITY TO CANCEL In addition to the other rights of cancellation contained in this agreement, we can cancel a sale of a lot if: (i) any of your warranties in paragraph E3 are not correct; (ii) we reasonably believe that completing the transaction is, or may be, unlawful or (iii) we reasonably believe that the sale places us or AMM under any liability to anyone else or may damage our reputation. 2 - RECORDINGS We may videotape and record proceedings at any auction. We will keep any personal information confidential, except to the extent disclosure is required by law. However, we may, through this process, use or share these recordings with another Christie’s Group company and marketing partners to analyse our customers and to help us to tailor our services for buyers. If you do not want to be videotaped, you may make arrangements to make a telephone or written bid or bid on Christie’s LIVE™ instead. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not videotape or record proceedings at any auction. 3 - COPYRIGHT AMM owns the copyright in all images and illustrations relating to a lot. We own the copyright in written material produced by or for us. You cannot use them without prior written permission from AMM or Christie’s (as applicable). We or AMM do not offer any guarantee that you will gain any copyright or other reproduction rights to the lot. 4 - ENFORCING THIS AGREEMENT If a court finds that any part of this agreement is not valid or is illegal or impossible to enforce, that part of the agreement will be treated as being deleted and the rest of this agreement will not be affected.

5 - TRANSFERRING YOUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES You may not grant a security over or transfer your rights or responsibilities under these terms on the contract of sale with the buyer unless we have given our written permission. This agreement will be binding on your successors or estate and anyone who takes over your rights and responsibilities. 6 - PERSONAL INFORMATION (a) We will hold and process your personal information and may pass it to another Christie’s Group company for use as described in, and in line with, our privacy policy at www. christies.com. (b) You agree that we may provide your information to AMM, including name, address and telephone number. 7 - WAIVER No failure or delay to exercise any right or remedy provided under these Conditions of Sale shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of such right or remedy shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. 9 - LAW AND DISPUTES This agreement, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with this agreement, or any other rights you may have relating to the purchase of a lot will be governed by Swiss law. Before we or you start any court proceedings (except in the limited circumstances where the dispute, controversy or claim is related to proceedings brought by someone else and this dispute could be joined to those proceedings), we agree we will each try to settle the dispute by mediation following the Swiss Rules of a Commercial Mediation of the Swiss Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). We will use a mediator affiliated with SCCI who we and you agree to. If the dispute is not settled by mediation, you agree for our benefit that the dispute will be referred to and dealt with exclusively in the courts of the Canton of the sale location subject to any appeal to the Federal Tribunal. However, we will have the right to bring proceedings against you in any other court. 10 - REPORTING ON WWW.CHRISTIES.COM Details of all lots sold by us, including catalogue descriptions and prices, may be reported on www.christies. com and any website of AMM and their partners (including but not limited to any of the watch manufacturers).
