Students will study Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go, connecting it to Frankenstein in preparation for Unit 3. They will also continue to work on Romantic poetry started last term. We will begin the term by reflecting on the mock eam results.

All independent study materials are available Teams. This includes past papers, topic questions, Maths videos/podcasts/ articles to engage with and a reading list

This term students are covering all topics that form part of Populations and genes (Unit 3 ) and any relevant practical skills. There are 6 chapters in total. Populations, Photosynthesis, Respiration, Energy and Ecosystems, Nutrient cycles, Inheritance and Selection.

This assessment is for International A2 students and covers physical and inorganic chemistry. Students are assumed to have knowledge from Units 1 and 2.

March 6t and 7th mark the completion of the performance element of the Alevel pupils will have their C3 examination on said dates. They will continue to explore set texts ‘A View from the Bridge’ and ‘The Government Inspector’ preparing for our final written paper. Pupils are expected to consolidate their C4 research, nail down their focus question and begin drafting their research essay

Dramaonline library. A digital streaming with a selection of high quality theatre from the National Theatre.

Exam Paper will be given on 2nd February. Students will work to prepare preparation work upon the externally set theme for 2024 tbc.

Students will be revising characteristics and working properties of materials while completing the design development and making section of their NEA. In order to prepare for their final submission and end of year A Level exam.

In Key Stage 5, all students will have the opportunity to select their pathway for PE. The two pathway’s are Performance and Recreational. The sports within each pathway will be presented to students in the first week of each half term. Students are choosing the route to accelerate their sports performance, enjoyment of sport and enhancing their knowledge.

All communication, reflections and suggested videos for students to access will be available on the PE groups Teams page.

Students will secure their knowledge for topics featured in the Advanced Theory exam (paper 3), whilst also further delveoping their practical programming, problem solving and algorithm design skills.

In Computer Science, all resources are provided through OneNote and on Teams.

In Year 13, students will learn about the psychology of sleep, as well as explanations and treatments of Schizophrenia. Students will also recap research methods from Year 1 before moving onto research methods for Year 2.

In Psychology, all lesson resources, revision materials and assessment materials are posted on the Teams page of the class, which all students have access to.
