Northern Michigan resort offers VIP Wine and Spa packages, Girlfriend Getaways

he holidays are inching closer, so that means we’re out scouting for good travel and adventure ideas that will give us a little respite before the busy festive season takes hold. And it’s why we’re sharing a few things Grand Traverse Resort and Spa has pulled together for late-fall travelers.

Traverse City is one of our favorite spots to spend time. We love the walking trails, the restaurants and just soaking up all the Up North fun in this double-bay town. Grand Traverse Resort has paired some of the area’s most well-known spots with its own spa offerings to create a few travel packages that are geared toward wellness and relaxation.

These include packages like the Girlfriends Getaway, with plenty of spa time and pampering, and for wine lovers there’s a VIP Wine and Spa deal that takes you up Old Mission Peninsula for some award-winning sips.

It’s also a great time to check out the resort, which recently showed off its $10 million hotel renovation and the addition of its new junior suites.
