American Ramp Company Portfolio 2023

TABLE OF CONTENTS

With a love for skating and a desire to work somewhere that didn’t require him wearing a tie, Nathan Bemo founded American Ramp Company in 1998. What started out with just a couple guys in a garage has evolved into an action sports development company with worldwide impact. As an avid skater, Nathan’s focus for ARC was to design and develop parks for skaters and BMX bikers. While working with communities throughout the country, ARC saw a shift in the recreation landscape with an emerging need to develop parks that served a broader user group.

NATHAN BEMO FOUNDER/OWNER

A few years later, Nathan teamed up with John Hunter, an avid mountain biker, to develop Progressive Bike Ramps. PBR is a turnkey bike infrastructure development company that designs and builds everything from small parks like Bicycle Playgrounds to world class destination Bike Parks. ARC and PBR both design and build pump tracks and have partnered with Velosolutions to provide asphalt pump track facilities. Asphalt, concrete, and composite pump tracks make up a new type of recreational facility that can be used by skateboards, scooters, and bikes.

JOHN HUNTER CEO/OWNER

Today, ARC is truly a leader in the development of action sports facilities for communities large and small. From a million dollar skatepark built by ARC’s specialty concrete team Pivot Custom to a small town bike skills area, ARC approaches every project with the goal of creating a place for people and communities to connect.
