Other “home” locales: A running path along the Niagara river, a minivan in the garage, a funeral, a hockey rink, an airport. CHARACTERS Brian : A returned Iraq veteran. An EOD [Explosive Ordnance Disposal] unit captain. He’s been home for almost 2 years now. Baritone. Jessie: His wife. Mezzo soprano. Boys: Virgil, 10, boy soprano. Martin, 7, boy soprano. Sam, 5, boy soprano. Soldiers: Jeff. Bass Baritone. Ricky. Tenor. Castleman. Tenor. Women: Iraqi Woman/ Perneatha (a soldier’s widow)/Yogini. Soprano. Iraqi Woman/Aunt Sarah/Shrink. Soprano.
