We can help you find the product best suited to your needs. Here are some important specs to help compare to your current package and aid in communication. On the following pages, we refer to the “T” dimension as the diameter.
Closure
H – The height of the neck finish. Measured from the top of the neck to the point where the diameter “T” extended down, intersects the shoulder.
T – The outside diameter of the thread. The tolerance range of the “T” dimension will determine the mate between jar and closure.
E – The outside diameter of the neck. The difference between the “E” and “T” dimensions determines the thread depth.
I – The inner diameter of the jar neck.

Liners can serve multiple purposes such as:
• Preventing leaks in shipping and distribution

• Protecting consumers with tamper evidence
Foam liners and foil induction seals are common for personal care jars.
The type of liner selected depends on the product being packaged, specific customer requirements, resealing, and backing needed. We recommend testing liner with your specific equipment and application.
