Sean Edmunds, MD
Ryan Church, DNP is a native of Southern Utah. As a young man, he joined the United States Army Reserve, where was trained as an emergency medical technician and combat medic. Ryan completed a baccalaureate program at the University of Utah. Ryan later completed a master’s in nursing/nurse practitioner program at the University of Utah graduating near the top of his class. He then worked two years in a comprehensive pain clinic before moving to Coral Desert Spine to work closely with other orthopedic spine specialists. After seeing thousands of patients and assisting in over 1,200 surgeries, he has developed a high level of expertise to complement his caring personality. In 2012, Ryan completed a doctorate degree of nursing practice at the University of Utah. He also joined the MountainStar Healthcare network when Coral Desert Spine merged with St. Mark’s Comprehensive Spine Center. Dr. Sean Edmunds is an experienced OB/GYN who is dedicated to his patients. Originally from TwinFalls, Idaho, Dr. Edmunds gained interest in the healthcare field after several accidents as a youth. He solidified his desire to become an OB/GYN after a close relative developed uterine cancer while Dr. Edmunds was away serving his church. Dr. Edmunds studied neuroscience at Brigham Young University before graduating with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Utah. Dr. Edmunds focuses on the importance of his patients staying active, as this can greatly improve obstetric and gynecologic outcomes. He prides himself on minimally invasive surgery and patient directed care. Dr. Edmunds has many hobbies outside of healthcare, including trail running, hiking, going to the gym, movies, and music. Angelo Chachas, MD is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in comprehensive care for men and women with venous insufficiency (varicose vein disorders). Dr. Chachas is certified in the VNUS Closure System for venous insufficiency disease. He also specializes in diseases of the breast, thyroid and digestive system including disorders of the gallbladder, colon, and abdominal wall, with a special interest in anti-reflux surgery for patients who suffer from reflux esophagitis. Dr. Chachas is committed to providing excellent medical care to his patient so they can also enjoy a full and active life. He especially enjoys helping people suffering from venous insufficiency and its painful side effects.
