IMPORTANT REGULATIONS INDEMNIFICATION OF ADS Every political ad must have printed within the ad space, â&#x20AC;&#x153;Political Advertising paid for by (the name of the person or group contracting the space).â&#x20AC;? Example: Political Advertising paid for by Jones for Senate Committee, John Doe, Treasurer, 1700 Main, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.

ACCEPTANCE COMMITTEE All printed political advertising is subject to approval by an advertising acceptance committee. For this reason, we recommend that copy be submitted to Utah Media Group prior to the actual deadline in order to accommodate the review process.

PAYMENT Cash with copy is required of all political advertising. Under no circumstances will any advertisement be published before payment is received and recorded accordingly.

RATE All local, regional, and state offices and issues earn the local retail political rates. All federal offices and issues take the general rates.

ENDORSEMENTS Any political advertising that is placed in support of a candidate must be accompanied by a list of supporters and a signed acknowledgement by the candidate that the advertising is being placed on his or her behalf. If a candidate is unaware of an endorsement, it must be stated in the advertising.
