EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Heidi Gallant and rewarding responsibility. This entirely member-led committee oversees our nominations process, reviewing applications, meeting with interested individuals, and finally announcing the slate of candidates at our Monthly Luncheon in September. Voting will then remain open until our October AGM, when the new Board for 2024 will be announced.

We have also started adding observers to Committees and Councils so that members can understand the duties of the co-chairs who operate these twenty-five working groups. In December the board will appoint the leadership for 2024.

It’s been a fantastic first half of 2023, with 53 in-person networking events, 45 online webinars and working Council meetings, as well as signature events like the AmChams of Asia Pacific Summit, the AMCHAM Academy, the Governor’s Gala, Independence Day Tree Planting and an abundance of visits to Royal Thai Government Ministries and Agencies. We can’t wait for the second half where we’ll host the ChariTee Golf Tournament, the 2023 Corporate Social Impact Awards and begin engaging with the new government after it forms.
