Brassed Off is the stage play of the multi-award winning film of the same name which follows the heart-tugging fortunes of a colliery brass band.

It’s 1994 and the lifeblood of Grimley’s community is threatened when the pit looks set for closure. The loss of 1200 jobs also signifies the end for the colliery’s long-standing and close-knit brass band. Conductor Danny is determined that the band will gain national recognition and with arrival of flugelhorn-playing Gloria it seems his goals aren’t quite so far-fetched. But as loyalties are questioned and political and personal pressures erupt, can the band ever reach the National Championships and realise Danny’s dreams of hearing Grimley play at the Albert Hall?

Produced by Stage Productions, the company behind previous shows at The Regent including We Will Rock You, Oliver!, Rent and The King & I, Brassed Off will see a live brass band play at every performance.
