The maximum height of the project consists of 3 floors + penthouse above the ground floor. Each levels’ floor-to-floor height shouldn’t exceed 4 meters. We have the underground parking as a ground floor for 4.5m height .

MUNAZI ECO-LODGE
Nyugwe National Park
This project is about promoting an eco-friendly tourist destination , Our approach was to use the natural resources that surround us in a sustainable manner and try to create an autonomous off-grid system for the lodge . This means using renewable energy resources such as sun as well as building with local materials, promoting and producing local products, minimizing and recycling our waste and promoting activities connected to the natural environment of Nyugweforest .

GREEN BUILDING PROJECT
The orientation of the building: The Green Building Minimum Compliance System 2019 encourages projects to maximize the use of passive design features, such as orientation, natural ventilation, and daylighting, to minimize heat gains, thus improving indoor thermal comfort and reducing energy consumption.
•Building material choices: On this project we will be using Rulibabricks, manufactured locally within Kigali, where coffee husk is the primary material used to burn the bricks in the industrial kiln. These bricks also have a low embodied carbon coefficient of 0.175 kgCO2e/kWh, which is lower than that of the bricks manufactured in the United Kingdom or elsewhere. Thus, overall, the use of bricks
•Contributes to the sustainability of the building: Moreover, the use of bricks as a predominant building facade material that acts as a perforated screen wall on the eastern and western facades filters in the daylight also helps in reducing heat ingress into the building
Structure design efficiency: Rainwater is collected in an underground water tank and filtered using a water treatment plant. The project is environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable.
Resources and Energy Conservation : Our Energy efficiency approach involves using technology that requires less energy to perform the same function. Energysaving light bulbs, large household appliance sand smart Refrigerator all these examples of technology that can be energy efficient.

The building form can affect building performance in many aspects such as energy efficiency, construction cost, and aesthetic effects.
INDOOR COURTYARD GARDEN
The shape coefficient of the building has an important influence on building energy consumption and the incremental cost of building energy-saving

Therefore its important to use the most optimal shape to maximize Natural light and Ventilation to give a nice atmosphere for the embassy offices
DESIGN APPROACH
Sun
The sun analysis shows that the difference between sun’s position in Rwanda is close to 50 degrees of change-making. the design project would still receive light due to the higher position of the sun for any seasons.
Wind
Wind can be classified as strong and weak winds. The strong wind is coming from the valley area, while the weak from the main street. This offers an opportunity of creating volumes that capture the strong winds from the West-Northern side of the site and direct them in the way that they ventilate the site.
Green
The trees that can not be kept in place will be replaced. The project will give back more than 100% of the existing green area
