Stroll through our 65 public parks and enjoy the vibrant fall foliage, take a peaceful bike ride through the trails at Rick Klein Sports Complex, or visit Memorial Park during Halloween season The cooler weather is perfect and just in time for our fall softball and volleyball leagues

FALL PROGRAMMING SWIM LESSONS
Offered Sept. - Nov.
Learn the basics of swim safety from our excellent swim instructors in a group setting Mondays and Wednesdays or in a private session on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ages 5+. To register or find additional information, please visit

TODDLER SWIM
Perfect for little ones just starting in the water. Classes cover water exploration, instruction, encouragement and basic safety skills. Ages 3 months - 3 years. SWIM STROKE ANALYSIS
Want help with your stroke technique or simply improve your swimming ability? Join our class for advanced swimming to perfect your backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly stroke, and freestyle stroke. Looking for Pickleball?
Amarillo National Tennis Center has a total of nine pickleball courts! All courts operate on a first come-first serve basis and are dependent upon availability. To see additional locations for pickleball, please see page 14.
Junior Program
We offer monthly memberships based on skill level for young tennis players! Stop by Amarillo National Tennis Center or call to learn more!

Public Art

Park Clean-Up
Park Clean-Up is a year-round initiative comprised of volunteers who are proud of the numerous amenities our parks have to offer Our citizens and visitors enjoy walking in a clean park With your support, our parks will continue contributing to Amarillo’s quality of life and maintain the level of excellence we have all come to expect when visiting one of Amarillo’s 65 parks.

One way you can help make a difference in our parks is by adopting them, gaining a sense of civic pride in knowing you are helping us keep our parks clean
The minimum requirement involves hosting a park clean-up once every three months If you are interested in doing more, you are more than welcome to look into the following projects:

WILDHORSE
Wildhorse Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that offers a traditional feel with tree lined fairways Wildhorse will test your short game anywhere around the greens Offering 5 sets of tees for any type of golfer. Wildhorse stretches 6,926 yards from the black tees.
MUSTANG
Mustang Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that offers wide fairways and huge green complexes Mustang will test your game off the tee and also your short game Mustang also offers 5 sets of tees and stretches 7,227 yards from the black tees
Tomahawk Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that offers challenges to all skill level of golfer Tomahawk will test your ball striking and short game With five sets of tee boxes, Tomahawk stretches 7,180 yards from the black tees
ARROWHEAD
Arrowhead Golf Course is an 18-hole, Scottish-style links course that will test the patience of the most seasoned golfer with no protection from the wind Arrowhead offers five sets of tee boxes that can stretch to 6,940 yards from the black tee markers
