It is a Design of a Convention center which is a building or group of buildings designed for conventions, during my B.Arch. thesis project. The project was spacious enough to handle up to 15000 people with the convention hall having a seating capacity of 6000. Along with these spaces for auditorium, food court, seminar hall pre-function area was also provided. The spaces were designed in such a way that all pre-function areas are illuminated by natural lighting and the convention halls use artificial lighting for their functioning. The total build-up area went around 67500 sq.m. with 50% ground coverage. Along with this, a 3-star hotel was also attached with the main building which provided accommodation facilities for the arriving guests.
