The legendary Rock band SCORPIONS rock into Cyprus iconic Rock band are celebrating the release of their new studio album, as part of their world tour, for a unique show at Tsirion Stadium in Limassol on 12 July. It’s their third visit to the island and I feel it’s going to be their best show here to date. The ROCK BELIEVER as well as the 50th anniversary of their spectacular debut which led to their international success. The number one rock band are classed as one of the most successful commercial Rock bands stretching over decades and have sold over 120 million records worldwide with a string of great hits including Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, Holiday, Send Me an Angel and the highly acclaimed, Wind of Change and many more. This highly anticipated concert by the German Rockers, has been well received with enthusiasm and excitement resulting in high demand and fast selling tickets. This is one of the biggest concerts since the start of the Pandemic, and we must thank Moonlight Show Productions for always bringing such highly recognised bands to the island. Opening the show, is the much-loved local band, Minus One performing original songs from their album.

FENGAROS IS BACK!!

After a two-year hiatus that halted the much loved and highly respected island festival, FENGAROS, the summertime open air music festival is back celebrating its tenth year of giving people, music for the soul.

From the 28th until the 30th of July, the three-day festival which offers more than 45 hours of music, guarantees to please and inject a wide spectrum of musical tastes into festival goers. There is something for everyone… from jazz to pop to folk to Rock, it’s a people pleaser and a game player in the festival industry which promises to grow and give music lovers what they want. Fengaros celebrates new and current music bringing local and international pop, rock, folk, and electronic musicians into this picturesque village which transforms into a festival experience like no other on the island. Kato Drys awakens and welcomes festival goers that are full of high spirits and anticipation for the upcoming events. In addition to the festival is the music village which happens a week prior to the main event between 21-26 July and provides arts education through a series of music and theatre workshops. An amazing initiative providing upcoming musicians the chance to work with established and professionals and gain practical musical experiences, first-hand knowledge, including orchestration and arrangement. Fengaros successfully combines music amongst the breath-taking views of the beautiful and quaint village of Kato Drys.
