Paralimni Dog Pound is here for every dog in need and has been since 2013. We believe that every animal deserves the best whether it’s newly born or getting on, cute or unique, our team of volunteers are ready and waiting. We believe that every dog should live in a home where they are treated with love, care and respect and we strive to find every dog a loving home. Our staff and volunteers are hugely committed and we put no limit on the time dogs stays with us. In the past many dogs have been waiting for their forever homes for over a year. Paralimni Dog Pound is supported and enhanced by the efforts of our 20 dedicated volunteers. From daily care to office duties, our volunteers are involved in all aspects of our work ensuring the dogs are safe, well and loved.

A LOST DOG? If you’ve found a lost dog or suspect a dog may be stray then follow our advice on what to do. Firstly contact your local authority and report the dog, then they will be able to come and collect the animal from you.

We receive no central Government funding towards the care of our dogs. We rely on the generosity and support of the public to care for the thousands of animals who arrive at our gates every year. We want to care for and rehome even more dogs in the future, so we make sure every penny counts.
