R K Khan campus vision is to lead Nursing Education and to achieve excellence in nursing through education and training of nurses and midwives registrable with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) at Basic and Post-registration levels.
In 1985, we saw the first students from R.K. Khan Hospital being accepted for the B. Soc Science Degree Course in Nursing. In 1986 the course for the Diploma in General Nursing was replaced by the four (4) year comprehensive integrated course.
