Eugene began his career in the furniture industry at 16, and, alongside his wife Marie, started the business in their garage, focusing on furniture reupholstering. Their dedication and passion spurred the company’s growth, leading to a rebranding in 2002 to better represent its expanded focus on custom soft furnishings.

Today, Silva is driven by the next generation—sons Matt, Jon, and daughterin-law Devon—who bring fresh ideas and a commitment to maintaining Silva’s industryleading standards. Operating from a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and a 5,000-square-foot showroom in Toronto, Silva Custom Furniture has built a reputation for quality, comfort, and style.
