A Custom Branding Session creates image content that is specifically designed for your individual business. No two sessions are exactly the same because each business is a critical member of the design team. Below is a brief outline of the steps involved.

Approach: 1. Brand Definition. What is your core meaning? Styles and aesthetics can change over time,

but successful brands always relate the aesthetic back to the company’s core. Through

various questions and methods, I can help you figure this out, but ultimately the core

meaning comes from you.

2. Design Consultation. What type of images and sessions do you need?

We design your custom session to include headshots, behind the scenes, and specialty shots.

3. Storyboard Creation. Where all of the details meet.

We determine location, time of day, wardrobe and types of shots to get.

4. Execute the Sessions. Time for fun! We create the vision.

5. Final Reveal. Post-Production and Delivery. The culmination of our collaboration.

End Result: As Americans, we are attracted to images based purely on artistic merit. As a designer, I propose the following. Yes, the final images must be well-executed, but they must also reflect part of your soul, self-expression, and the core of your brand.

Thornwood Yoga Studio

A case study

Thornwood Yoga is not your normal yoga studio. Dene Olgesby, the owner, specializes in private sessions/workshops and travel yoga retreats, both of which emphasize a connection to the Earth. She focuses on finding the balance between manmade and nature. Her images reflect her philosophy.

Over the course of several meetings, we carefully collaborated to develops her Custom Branding Sessions. We discussed her business, her future vision, and her core meaning. Her images reflect a connection to nature while also providing variety that could be used throughout the year in print and digital media sources.

We worked together on every detail including watching weather forecasts. Not only did we discuss poses and locations, we also paired specific poses to each background. This created a carefully crafted scene designed especially for Thornwood Yoga.
