Light gives strength to our secrets and our wishes, light embraces the challenge of building new stories. We never envisage light on its own. It is always together with people, creating new, happy rites and relationships. We use it to build new worlds and it accompanies us through our spaces and our needs.

With light, we can see where there was once just a wall of darkness, in time and space.

Tutte le cose semplici e belle accadono sotto una luce. L’ingresso al mondo di una nuova vita, il raggio che entra dalla finestra ogni mattina annunciando il buongiorno, il guardarsi negli occhi, il momento in cui, di sera, al bagliore soffuso di una piccola lampada, sfogliamo i ricordi della giornata. La luce rafforza i nostri segreti e desideri, la luce accoglie la sfida di costruire nuove storie. La luce non la pensiamo mai da sola, è sempre insieme a persone, per produrre nuovi rituali e relazioni felici, la usiamo per costruire nuovi mondi; ci segue nei nostri spazi e nei nostri bisogni.

Con lei riusciamo a vedere dove prima c’era solo un muro di buio, nel tempo e nello spazio.

Toutes les choses simples et belles arrivent sous une lumière. L'entrée dans le monde d'une nouvelle vie, le rayon qui entre par la fenêtre tous les matins pour nous souhaiter bonjour, le regard dans les yeux, le moment où, le soir, à la lueur d'une petite lampe, nous repassons les moments de la journée. La lumière fortifie nos secrets et nos désirs, la lumière relève le défi de construire de nouvelles histoires. Nous ne pensons jamais à la lumière seule, elle est toujours parmi les personnes, pour produire de nouveaux rituels et des relations heureuses, nous l'utilisons pour construire de nouveaux mondes ; elle nous suit dans nos espaces et nos besoins. Avec elle, nous pouvons voir là où il n'y avait auparavant qu'un mur de ténèbres, dans le temps et dans l'espace.

Beinahe alle wirklich schönen und einfachen Dinge sind untrennbar mit dem Licht verbunden. Der Eintritt eines neuen Lebens in diese Welt, der erste Lichtstrahl, der am frühen Morgen durch die Fensterscheiben den neuen Tag erweckt, die besinnlichen Momente, wenn wir zu später Stunde im sanften Licht einer kleinen Nachttischlampe die Vorkommnisse des Tages Revue passieren lassen, das wunderbare Gefühl, wenn sich zwei Liebende bei einem romantischen Abendessen mit stimmiger Beleuchtung tief in die Augen sehen… Das Licht verstärkt unsere Wünsche und unsere Geheimnisse, und es nimmt die Herausforderung, Neues anzufangen, bereitwillig an. Wenn wir neues Licht entdecken, dann tun wir das nie allein, sondern immer zusammen mit anderen, um neue Rituale und glückliche Beziehungen, neue Welten zu schaffen; das Licht folgt uns in unsere Räume und bereichert unser Leben. La luz fortalece nuestros deseos y nuestros secretos, acepta el reto de crear nuevas experiencias.

La luz no se concibe nunca por separado, está junto a las personas para crear costumbres y relaciones placenteras, para que podamos construir nuevos mundos; nos acompaña siempre en nuestros espacios y en nuestras necesidades. Soirée, an amazing concept developed by two Italian designers, Marco Merendi and Diego Vencato, immediately embodies Fratelli Guzzini's determination to place innovation, as well as design, at the core of its new collection of lamps.

Soirè, un concept straordinario, sviluppato da due designer italiani - Marco Merendi e Diego Vencato - e che sancisce, fin dal suo esordio, la volontà della Fratelli Guzzini di mettere l'innovazione, insieme al design, al centro della nuova collezione di lampade.

ZURIGO 1966 Perhaps a trip down memory lane for a company with an impressive history happy to embrace its priceless legacy, or perhaps the awareness that this is one of those objects that stand the test of time and are always absolutely contemporary. Definitely, however, a homage to Luigi Massoni, who began to investigate the world of light with Guzzini and who created Zurigo, a pendant lamp that has inspired many other designers over the years.

Its typically 1970s form is exciting, emphatic and assertive. Zurigo 1966 has a strong personality, reinforced by the colour that has always been intrinsic to its identity. It is therefore relaunched in the authentic original shape, but produced using a technology that further enhances its lighting performance.

Forse un tuffo nella memoria di un’azienda che ha tanta storia alle spalle e ne coglie la preziosa eredità, forse la consapevolezza che alcuni oggetti, come questo, non subiscono il logorio del tempo anzi lo sfidano con la loro assoluta contemporaneità, sicuramente un omaggio a Luigi Massoni che con Guzzini ha cominciato a scandagliare il mondo della luce e che ha creato nel 1966 un lampadario a sospensione, Zurigo, che, nel tempo, ha ispirato altri designer.

La sua forma, tipicamente anni ’70 è avvolgente, definita, imponente. Zurigo 1966 ha un carattere deciso rafforzato anche dall’elemento cromatico che lo ha sempre distinto e proprio per questo viene rieditato non tradendo nulla del suo segno formale ma con una tecnologia che meglio supporta le sue performance in tema di illuminazione.

Peut-être un plongeon dans la mémoire d'une entreprise qui a une longue histoire derrière elle et préserve son précieux héritage, peut-être la conscience que certains objets, comme celui-ci, ne souffrent pas de l'usure du temps, mais le défient avec leur contemporanéité absolue, assurément un hommage à Luigi Massoni qui, avec Guzzini, a commencé à sonder le monde de la lumière et créé en 1966 un lustre, Zurigo, qui, au fil du temps, a inspiré d'autres designers.

Sa forme, typique des années 70, est enveloppante, définie, imposante. Zurigo 1966 a un caractère décidé renforcé par l'élément chromatique qui l'a toujours distingué ; c'est pourquoi il est réédité sans trahir son signe formel mais avec une technologie qui porte au mieux ses performances en matière d'éclairage.

Vielleicht ein Sprung zurück in die Vergangenheit eines traditionsreichen Unternehmens, das das wertvolle Erbe seiner erfolgreichen Geschichte bewahren möchte, vielleicht das Bewusstsein, dass Objekte wie dieses im Laufe der Jahre nichts von ihrer Faszination einbüßen, sondern die Zeit mit ihrer absoluten Zeitlosigkeit herausfordern, und zweifelsohne eine Hommage an Luigi Massoni, der mit Guzzini die Entdeckung der Welt des Lichtes begonnen und 1966 mit Zurigo 1966 eine Hängeleuchte kreiert hat, die immer wieder auch Inspirationsquelle für andere Designer gewesen ist.

Mit ihrer für den Stil der 70er Jahre typischen, imposanten und klar definierten Form zeichnet sich die Zurigo 1966 durch eine starke Ausdruckskraft aus, die durch das prägende chromatische Element zusätzlich unterstrichen wird und bis heute nichts an Wirkung eingebüßt hat. Deshalb wurde sie auch so belassen, wie sie ist, und lediglich technologisch auf den letzten Stand gebracht, um ihre Performance unter beleuchtungstechnischen Aspekten zu optimieren.

Que se trate de un salto en el pasado de una empresa con tanta trayectoria que desea destacar su valiosa herencia, o de la consciencia de que a objetos como este no les afecta el paso del tiempo sino todo lo contrario, lo desafían con toda su absoluta contemporaneidad, es por cierto un homenaje a Luigi Massoni, que con Guzzini inició a explorar el mundo de la luz y en 1966 creó Zurigo, una lámpara colgante que con el tiempo se ha convertido también en fuente de inspiración para tantos otros diseñadores.

Su típica forma de los años ’70 es envolvente, definida, imponente. Zurigo 1966 tiene un carácter decidido, afianzado también por el elemento cromático que la distingue desde siempre. Es por ello que su reedición no traiciona absolutamente nada de su signo formal, pero sí aporta una tecnología que mejora sus prestaciones en materia de iluminación.

La lavorazione traforata crea un’atmosfera calda e intima. La qualità, poi, del materiale acrilico utilizzato permette un gioco di luce e controluce davvero unico e irripetibile.

La preciosidad de una elaboración orfebre, el encanto del encaje, la maestría de lograr este efecto con el uso del material acrílico: méritos de Pio y Tito Toso y de Guzzini que se materializan en la colección Filigrana. La elaboración calada crea una atmósfera cálida e íntima a su alrededor, mientras que la calidad del material acrílico empleado aporta un juego de luz y contraluz realmente único, incomparable.
