Cole & Mason is celebrating 100 years of great taste in 2019. Founded in London in 1919, the brand became synonymous with high quality, high performing salt and pepper mills soon after.

Gourmet Precision+ 2019 sees the launch of the brand new Precision+ pepper grinding mechanism. Designed and developed over a 2 year period, the new mechanism cements our position as the primary innovators in the category. Rigorously tested in conjunction with Nottingham University’s Aroma Laboratory, Cole & Mason Precision+ mills represent a new level of performance: able to deliver more pepper per turn than ever before and scientifically tested to release more flavour. The designs were created by Cole & Mason and are IP protected to ensure no imitations.

Our range of Gourmet Precision+ mills offer pre-set grind options. Choose from 6 pre-selected levels for pepper and 3 for salt to give precise adjustment of the grind from fine to coarse.

Lid pulls off for an ease of refilling

Stem – aluminium material is strong and inert to prevent corrosion of the metal and contamination of the condiment

Mechanism housing – ensure consistent assembly of the precision components

Precision+ Mills All our Precision+ mills come equipped with a sharp, corrode resistant ceramic mechanism in the salt mills and our brand new Precision+ mechanism in the pepper mills. Designed and developed over a 2 year period, the new mechanism cements our position as the primary innovators in the category. Rigorously tested in conjunction with Nottingham University’s Aroma Laboratory, Cole & Mason Precision+ mills represent a new level of performance: able to deliver more pepper per turn than ever before and scientifically tested to release more flavour. The Precision+ range contains a mill size, shape and design for every taste; from acrylic to wood and from classic to contemporary. With a variety of stains, metals and finishes, there is a mill for every dining setting.

Knob – adjust the grind by turning clockwise for a finer grind and anti clockwise for a coarser grind Stem – aluminium material is strong and inert to prevent corrosion of the metal and contamination of the condiment
