MARCH 1, 2024 Álvarez-Díaz & Villalón®, a leading, award-winning architecture and interior design firm in Puerto Rico, is seeking interns for our Summer Internship Program at our firm in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for up to 8 weeks! As an Intern, you will be a member of a thriving team dedicated to finding solutions in sustainable architecture and interior design, enhancing people’s experience of the world and improving their lives. From culture activities, sketching & site visits to assisting in the creation of true-to-scale models & 3D printing, you’ll be a part of an integrated team that values the importance of design and whose skills, artistry, commitment to social responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work together set us apart from the rest. We are looking for team players with a positive attitude who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take on any challenge, big or small. ELIGIBILITY This is a unique opportunity for college students in their third or fourth year or in their graduate programs. This program is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited institution for a minimum of six semesters who have shown outstanding design performance, with special consideration being given to academic achievement. Architecture students shall be registered for NCARB’s AXP program to qualify for the hours of practice. *Travel and lodging shall be paid for and arranged by the participant.
