Rauw Alejandro, con tan solo 28 años se ha convertido en una de las voces más representativas de la nueva escena urbana. Ha encabezado una gira mundial con entradas agotadas por Estados Unidos, España y República Dominicana. La ciudad de Palma y el Visit Mallorca Estadi han sido testigos de este lleno total tras 19 meses de prohibiciones. Alejandro, colgó el cartel de “No hay entradas” e hizo disfrutar a más de 5.000 personas. Durante su estancia en Palma eligió el AluaSoul Palma, Hotel de la marca Alua y situado en Cala Estancia.

Supo el tipo de ritmo que necesitaba para su canción “Todo de Ti” o “Everything About You”. El ritmo de trap plug-and-play era demasiado ambiental. Estudioso de Daddy Yankee y Michael Jackson, dio un gran salto de fe este año cuando introdujo elementos retro funk y dance en su segundo LP, “Vice Versa”. El álbum debutó en el n.° 1 en la lista Billboard Top Latin Albums. Rauw, Nacido en San Juan y criado en Carolina (Puerto Rico), se dio a conocer también por su romance con Rosalia “No te voy a mentir, para mí, Rosalía es hermosa. Para mí es la más hermosa que hay”, decía con una gran sonrisa y mirada de esperanza en una entrevista. Al igual que él, sus padres también son artistas, y lo influenciaron con cantantes como Elvis Presley y Michael Jackson. Su padre es Raúl Ocasio, un guitarrista; y su madre es María Ruiz, una corista. Durante varios años vivió en Estados Unidos, donde fue influido por los géneros R&B y dancehall.

Aged just 28, Rauw Alejandro has become one of the most representative voices of the new urban music scene. He’s recently headed a sold-out tour of the United States, Spain and the Dominican Republic; the Visit Mallorca Stadium in Palma was an example of his full-capacity audiences following 19 months of restrictions. Alejandro put up the “Sold out” sign and performed for an ecstatic crowd of more than 5,000. For his stay in Palma he chose the AluaSoul Palma, an Alua hotel located in Cala Estancia.

He was certainly on top of the rhythm needed for his songs Todo de Ti and Everything About You. Plug-and-play trap was too ambient. A follower of Daddy Yankee and Michael Jackson, Alejandro took a leap of faith this year, introducing retro funk and dance elements in his second album Vice Versa. The album went straight to number 1 in the Billboard Top Latin Albums.

Born in San Juan and raised in Carolina (Puerto Rico), Ruaw is also famous for his relationship with Rosalía: “I’m not going to lie: to me, Rosalía is beautiful. She’s the most beautiful of all”, he said in an interview, with a huge smile and a confident expression. Like him, his parents are artists, introducing him to singers like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. His father is guitarist Raúl Ocasio; his mother the backing vocalist María Ruiz.

Rauw lived for several years in the United States, where he was influenced by R&B and dancehall music.

Seine Welttournee durch die Vereinigten Staaten, Spanien und die Dominikanische Republik war ausverkauft. Und auch im Visit Mallorca Estadi in Palma blieb nach 19 Monaten Beschränkungen keine Eintrittskarte übrig. Alejandro hängte das Schild “Ausverkauft” auf und begeisterte mit seinem Auftritt mehr als 5000 Personen. Für seinen Aufenthalt in Palma wählte er das AluaSoul Palma, ein Hotel der Marke Alua in Cala Estancia.

Er wusste genau, welche Rhythmen er für seinen Song “Todo de Ti” oder “Everything About You” brauchte. Der Beat von Trap-Plugand-Play war zu ambient. Als Schüler von Daddy Yankee und Michael Jackson setzte er in diesem Jahr mit einem großen Vertrauensvorschuss auf Retro Funk- und Dance-Elemente in seiner zweiten LP “Vice Versa” und landete auf Platz 1 der Billboard Top Latin Albums.

Rauw, der in San Juan geboren und in Carolina (Puerto Rico) aufgewachsen ist, wurde auch durch seine Romanze mit Rosalía bekannt. “Ich lüge dich nicht an, für mich ist Rosalía einfach bezaubernd. Sie ist für mich die Allerschönste, die es gibt.”, sagte er mit einem strahlenden Lächeln und hoffnungsvollem Blick in einem Interview. Genau wie er sind auch seine Eltern Künstler und beeinflussten ihn mit Sängern wie Elvis Presley und Michael Jackson. Sein Vater, Raúl Ocasio, ist Gitarrist und seine Mutter, María Ruiz, Chorsängerin.

Während mehrerer Jahre, in denen er in den Vereinigten Staaten lebte, wurde er von R&B und Dancehall geprägt.
