Accountancy, Business, and Management or also known as ABM: is a strand that falls within the academic track offered by the K to 12 curriculum by the Department of Education which concentrates on the basic concepts of business management, financial management, corporate operations, and other business-related courses. ABM is more than just about accounting, although many people associate it with the said course and describe it as a difficult track to pursue; ABM teaches the students mainly about business. The business field covers a wide range of courses/fields of work ABM mainly teaches students how to run and manage a business, and the fundamentals and strategies for making a business successful. Additionally, this program alms to produce graduates who will be prepared for employment or to enter the corporate world.

Students who will select the ABM strand will be able to acquire and gain a variety of skills; one of these is to improve their leadership so they can better manage their future business organization, as the strand aims to expose the students to various types of scenarios that they may face if they ever launch their firm. The ABM strand also engages students in business simulation and work immersion to get practical and onhand experiences And using the knowledge they acquired from this strand will enable the students to launch and successfully manage their businesses as well as to effectively handle the business, and make wise judgments and decisions for the benefit of the organization. Aside from that, the students will learn about the basic practices of financial management and business operations, which is an important skill to acquire Financial Management will be useful; since the students will be able to handle their finances much better, and they will learn how to spend their finances wisely and effectively, and how to save money as well. While the skill for business operations will help students in running a business successfully.

Overall, students should consider pursuing the ABM strand. Students will get and learn a lot from this strand, especially some business survival skills that may be beneficial for their future Additionally, they can improve and develop a variety of skills, particularly practical ones that may be used and applied for daily activities For example, management, organizational, and communication skills are all very useful in our daily lives. After graduating from this strand, plenty of opportunities can be offered to the students. Students can pursue a wide variety of courses for their college degree And this shows that the ABM strand is the most practical strand that students can choose from. Aside from paving the way for business-related courses, it also prepares students for what they may face in the work industry Students are being trained in their analytical and communication skills; honing their skills so that they can perform well in their future careers.
