GOLD MIRROR NEW YEAR’S DAY CARD

INSTRUCTIONS

SUPPLIES Stamp, Dies, and 3D Embossing Folder Crossing Stars 3D Embossing Folder Labels & Tags 1 Die Set Happy Holidays Stamp Set Mighty Alphabet Die Set Cardstock Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock Gold Mirror Cardstock (5 sheets/set) Glitter Cardstock Set - Dazzling Diamond

1.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” panel out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

2.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” panel out of Gold Mirror Cardstock.

3.

Dry emboss the panel using Crossing Stars 3D Embossing Folder. Set this aside.

4.

Die cut the word “New Year” from Mighty Alphabet Die Set once out of Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock and two more times from thick white cardstock.

5.

Adhere the die-cuts together using liquid glue.

6.

Die cut the largest tag from Labels & Tags 1 Die Set out of vellum.

7.

Align the letters – top and bottom – across the center of the label and adhere with liquid glue.

8.

Flip the vellum over and add liquid glue on the back of the letters so that the glue was hidden.

9.

Place it into the center of the dry embossed mirror panel and weigh it down to adhere.

10. On a strip of white cardstock, stamp a sentiment from the Happy Holidays Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. 11. Adhere the sentiment strip to the center of the card front using foam tape.

12. Adhere a few Satin Gold Sequins using liquid glue.

INSTRUCTIONS

SUPPLIES

1.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Set this aside.

2.

Paint a panel of Watercolor Paper using the Artists’ Watercolor 24 Pan Set. Tip: Use a wet-on-wet technique - this will allow the colors to blend together as they dry.

3.

After the panel dried, dry emboss it using the Rose Bellevue 3D Folder.

4.

Add more paint to the embossed panel to create some shading on the petals.

5.

Die cut the Fancy Enjoy Die a few times out of white cardstock.

6.

Adhere the die-cut pieces together with liquid glue.

7.

Adhere the die-cut onto the embossed panel using liquid glue.

8.

Adhere the embossed panel onto the card base using glue tape.

FLOATING CARD IDEAS

INSTRUCTIONS 1.

Create two 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card bases out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Set these aside.

2.

Die cut all the dies from Craft-AFlower: Water Lily Die Set three times from a piece of watercolor cardstock.

3.

Add water to your work surface and place the die-cut pieces over it. Use the Artists’ Watercolor 24 Pan Set to add color to the die-cut pieces.

4.

Once done coloring, heat set them so they would curl and add more interest to the flowers.

5.

Once dry, adhere the die-cuts together using liquid glue.

6.

For card #1, cut a diagonal line across the front of a side-folding A2 card base. Adhere the die-cuts to the flap that was left.

7.

For card #2, cut a circle into the front of a top folding A2 card base using one of the larger dies from the Halftone Circles Die Set. Adhere the die-cuts around the die-cut circle.

8.

For card #3, create a 4 ¼” x 5″ piece of white cardstock and score it at 1 ½”, 2 ½”, and 3 ½”. Fold these score lines and then adhere a 4 ½” x 6″ piece of acetate folded in half into the folds to create a tent shape.

Adhere the die-cuts to the bottom part of the design.

9.

Stamp the sentiments from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Watercolor Flowers into place onto each card front using Obsidian Ink.

SUPPLIES Stamp, Die, and Stencil Craft Your Life Project Kit: Watercolor Flowers Cardstock Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock

1.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” panel out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

2.

Stamp the floral clusters from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Watercolor Flowers four times onto the card front using Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink.

3.

Use the coordinating stencils to apply Baby Pink, Fuchsia, and Magenta Crisp Dye Inks, along with Wisteria, Hydrangea, and Ultraviolet Crisp Dye Inks for the flowers. For the leaves, use Limeade, Lime, Fresh Leaf, and Emerald Crisp Dye Inks.

4.

Stamp a sentiment from the same set onto a piece of white cardstock using Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink.

5.

Die cut the sentiment with the coordinating die.

6.

Adhere the sentiment into place onto the card front using foam tape.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

2.

Stamp a couple of dahlias from Dazzling Dahlia Stamp Set onto a piece of Watercolor Paper using Obsidian Ink and heat set with and Crystal Clear Embossing Powder.

3.

Paint the dahlias using Artists’ Gouache Set - Strolling Through New York.

4.

Die cut images using the coordinating die.

5.

Stamp a sentiment from the same set onto a piece of white cardstock using Obsidian Ink.

6.

Die cut the sentiment using a die from the Handmade Tags Die Set.

7.

Tie a twine to the die-cut sentiment.

8.

Adhere a strip of Delicate Stripes Washi Tape to a slightly smaller card panel and add staples.

9.

Adhere the die-cut dahlias and sentiment onto the panel using glue tape and foam tape.

HIDDEN SENTIMENT CARD

INSTRUCTIONS 1.

SUPPLIES Stamp, Dies, and Stencil Ambridge Rose Stamp, Die, and Coloring Stencil Set Bold Alphabet Die Set Cardstock and Paper Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock Masking Paper (10 sheet/set) Lime Green Cardstock Inks Crisp Dye Ink: Shadow Creek, Starlight, Fresh Leaf, Lime, Limeade Pure White Ink Spray Other 2 in 1 Precision Glue Pen Instant Dimension Foam Tape Mini Blending Brush Set Ink Blending Brushes - Large

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” panel out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

2. Stamp the rose clusters from Ambridge Rose Stamp Set in the corners of a white card panel using Shadow Creek Dye Ink. 3. Color the images using the coordinating Ambridge Rose Coloring Stencil Set. Use some Mini Blending Brushes and the following dye inks: Fresh Leaf, Lime, and Limeade.

4. Color the flower parts of the clusters and leave the stems and leaves uncolored.

5. Make two masks for the rose clusters by stamping them onto Masking Paper and hand-cutting them with scissors.

6. Apply the masks onto the roses and blend Starlight Dye Ink onto the panel using a Large Blending Brush until it becomes bold blue.

7. Stamp several leaves around the flowers and color them using the same Ambridge Rose Coloring Stencil Set. Use Starlight Dye Ink for both stamping and coloring the leaves.

8. Die cut the word HUGS out of the background panel using the Bold Alphabet Die Set. 9. Die cut each letter 6 times out a lime green cardstock.

10. Stack each layer of each letter using liquid glue, with the background die-cut on top.

11. Insert the die-cut letters into their corresponding negative spaces.

12. Lightly blend Fresh Leaf Dye Ink onto the hidden sentiment.

13. Add some splatters using Pure White Ink Spray.

14. Adhere the panel onto the card base using Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

SUPPLIES Stamp, Die, and Hot Foil Plate Flower Wreath Hot Foil Plate Fancy Peace Die

1.

Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” panel out of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

2.

Hot foil the Flower Wreath Hot Foil Plate onto an A2 panel of Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock using some deep chocolate brown foil.

3.

Die cut the Fancy Peace Die from Dark Chocolate Cardstock three times.

4.

Adhere the die-cuts together using liquid glue.

5.

Stamp some sentiments from the Winter Typography Stamp Set onto black cardstock strips using Embossing Ink and heat set with Golden Peach Embossing Powder.

6.

Adhere the die-cut sentiments to the card front using liquid glue.

7.

Add some glittery metallic gems to the card front using liquid glue.

8.

Adhere the panel onto the card base using foam tape.
