16 The Arcades | Las Arcadas

2nd avenue, 3rd street | Avenida 2, calle 3. Declared an Architectural Monument on April 22, 1975, it is located next to Hotel Costa Rica and in front of the National Theater. It was built at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century to add to the landscape of the neighboring buildings. Next to it is the Dent walkway, which was the commercial center of the times.

Declarado Monumento Arquitectónico, el 22 de abril de 1975. Ubicadas a un costado del Hotel Costa Rica y frente al Teatro Nacional, se construyó a finales del siglo XIX principios del XX para agregarse al paisaje de los edificios aledaños. Contiguo se encontraba lo que se llamó el Pasaje Dent, que era un centro de comercio de la época.
