"HOPE" is a graphic design exploration I worked on in preparation for COP26, the climate focused summit held by the UN (also known as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).
The news surrounding COP26 in 2021 was hopeful, understanding the goals of this Climate Change Summit and its aims to accelerate climate action and the paris agreement.In the spirit of this positive outlook, I designed a graphic that reflected the views on this summit, using Adobe Illustrator and combining a custom font with the use of the counters in the letters O and P to symbolise the Earth and its moon.
Of course this finalised design was not the first to come across my sketches, a few variations made their way to Illustrator as well, as is shown above.
