EPRO8

The Epro8 challenge is an inter-school competition involving engineering, math and problem solving. The teams have 3 hours to build structures and circuits to complete challenges This year, 2 junior teams and 2 senior teams competed in the challenge. Cute British Accents came 1st in the heats and Cortez and the Quartets came 3rd. Both junior teams progressed to the finals. This NOT That came 4th in the heats and missed out on making it to the finals by only a few points. All Gas, No Brakes came a close 2nd and progressed to the Auckland grand finals.

All finals were postponed due to the second lockdown, but the senior final took place in October. All Gas, No Brakes competed at Pakuranga College and won the competition by 130 points, becoming the 2020 Grand Finals winners. The junior finals took place in early November, just after The Hill went to print.
