疫 情 的 開 始， 香 港 啟 發 推 動 Alpha Online 以 回 應 時 代 的 福 音 需

要，不少堂會都積極回應。為了培育堂會更有效地開展啟發，我們 舉行多次網上異象分享會及培訓；並為鼓勵新開辦的堂會更容易起 步，我們主領和組織了多個「聯合 Alpha Online」，招募了不同 的堂會團隊及福音對象一起參加。

為 加 強 堂 會 明 白 開 辦 Alpha Online 的 細 節， 我 們 為 每 節 課 舉 辦 了 Experiencing Alpha Online，給教牧同工及信徒領袖觀摩體驗。

我們更創新以「信徒起動計劃」幫助教會提升信徒領袖的傳福音異

象 和 技 巧 ，協 助 各 堂 會 成 功 開 辦 啟 發 。香 港 啟 發 在 困 難 重 重 的 一 年 ， 以 Alpha Online 嶄新的方式，多樣化的培訓，幫助了大量教會跨 越時空地域限制，向人分享福音。

W h e n t h e p a n d e m i c s t a r t e d t o s p re a d i n H o n g Ko n g , t h e Alpha team rapidly pivoted to a digital for mat, as a timely response to the needs of the Gospel. Churches responded positively to our move to digital evangelism and embraced Alpha Online.

Several online vision sharing and training sessions were held to equip churches to run Alpha more effectively. We also led and organized a number of joint Alpha Online courses, uniting leaders and guests from different churches. Through these joint courses, we were able to help our church partners kick off their Alpha Online courses smoothly.

We a l s o i n v i t e d c h u r c h p a s t o r s a n d l e a d e r s t o j o i n t h e " E x pe r ie n c in g A lph a O n lin e " p ro g ra mme . T h e p a r t ic ipants were able to see first-hand how Alpha Online can be successfully run.

Another new programme called the "Disciple Mobilisation Programme" was also launched last year. The programme targets lay leaders across multiple churches with the objective to strengthen their vision for the Gospel and equip them with new skills for evangelism.

E v e n t h o u g h 2 0 2 0 w a s a c h a l l e n g i n g y e a r, A l p h a O n l i n e has proven to be an effective tool to help churches in their mission to evangelise. Through creative new medium, coupled with training, many churches can effectively proclaim the truth of the Gospel using Alpha Online beyond the restrictions of space and time.

With the outbreak of COVID-19, many people switched to working from home. Alpha Hong Kong rolled out a new way of running Alpha - Alpha Online - in conjunction with face-to-face courses. This has effectively mobilised different Christian groups in the workplace to continue the wor k of the Gospel. God was able to tur n a crisis into an opportunity for us to bring the Good News to the wor kplace in Hong Kong, Greater China and beyond.

We al so successfully connected with partners in the f i n a n c e i n d u s t r y t o r u n j o i n t A l p h a O n l i n e a c ro s s 1 8 different banks with hundreds of guests joining.

Workplace Alpha established new channels to promote Alpha through the digital media in 2020. We explored creative ways to reach new communities, especially the younger generation. We launched the "From Spar k to Flame" page on Facebook and Instagram to promote wor kplace missions and interact with Christians online.

Several live stream shows were hosted by leaders and young professionals from Alpha. We are excited to see the Gospel being proclaimed through innovative new ways in the marketplace.

大專事工

自去年開始的社會運動後 ， 我們很關切大專校園的信仰情況 。 去年 ， 我們聯合和動員 了各大專校院事工的領袖和團契 ， 裝備大專生以創新靈活和 Alpha Online 的方法開 辦啟發 ， 讓同學有機會在校園經歷神的愛 。

感謝主 ， 這引發了大專生們更多地思考人生意義的問題 ， 甚至開始主動尋找信仰 。 去 年的大專校園啟發數目是去年的 4 倍 ， 是我們預料之外的 。 我們看到啟發獨有的開放 接納和關係建立文化 ， 再加上組長的聆聽關顧和愛心同行 ， 切切地回應了現今大專生 們的需要 ， 讓他們可以更坦然地分享及認識信仰 。

少青啟發

去 年 受 到 疫 情 影 響， 全 港 不 住 停 課， 令 青 少 年 福 音 工 作 大 受 打 擊， 但 都 無 阻 各 界 向 青 少 年 傳 福 音 的 心 。 很 多 教 會 、 中 學 、 社 區 中 心 、 青 少 年 機 構 運 用 啟 發 和 Alpha

Online 的方式 ， 不受地域的限制 ， 將福音帶給青少年 。 少青啟發的開辦有增無減 ， 並祝福了接近 4,000 個青少年認識耶穌 。

同時 ， 我們都關注到今屆的 DSE 生正面對極大的挑戰和壓力 。 在去年的 6 月 ， 我們

推行了一個 DSE 計劃 ， 與數間堂會和學校合作 ， 招聚了 70 多位學生 ， 透過一連四天 的訓練裝備和實戰同行 ， 激發起學生們傳福音的心志和信心 ， 最後誕生了 20 個由學 生自發帶領的啟發 ， 祝福了 50 多位未信的同學 。

University Alpha Since 2019, we have been feeling apprehensive about the impact of the social unrest on the spiritual life of the university students. Last year, we successfully mobilised leaders from the university fellowship groups to equip students with innovative and flexible ways to run Alpha Online. We hope students can have the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus through Alpha Online in their campus.

We are most thankful that Alpha Online has triggered many students to think about the meaning of life and take steps to explore faith. Amazingly, the number of Alpha courses run on university campuses in 2019 was four times of 2018, which completely exceeded our expectations. The unique values of Alpha - a culture of openness, an emphasis on relationship building and a focus of listening and caring for the guests - were very well received by the university students. They were able to share authentically and pursue faith passionately.

Youth Alpha Faced with the suspension of schools due to the pandemic, the work of evangelisation amongst the youth was inevitably impacted. However, the desire of the churches and organisations to reach out to the youth during this time has not diminished.

We saw churches, secondary schools, community centers and youth organisations using Alpha and Alpha Online to bring Good News to the youth, overcoming the boundaries of physical restrictions. The number of Youth Alpha courses in 2019 has increased unabated, bringing nearly 4,000 youth to know Jesus.

Meanwhile, we understand that the 2019 graduating DSE students wrestled with many challenges and pressure. In June 2019, we collaborated with several churches and schools to launch a programme for DSE students with more than 70 participants.

Through the four consecutive days of training, equipping and visioning, the students grew in confidence and became more passionate about the Great Commission. At the end, 20 new Alpha courses were birthed out of the group, with 50 non-Christian students being blessed with the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

The Marriage Course and The Parenting Course 面對疫情停學，子女長時間留在家中，很多家長發現親子及夫婦的 關係挑戰比以往更大。香港啟發舉辦不同的網上美滿婚姻及親子教

育課程訓練，約二百多位教牧同工和領袖參與，讓教會使用這些網

上課程成為福音的預工。此外，因為網上課程可以突破時地限制， 一些上班的家長和夫婦更容易參與，有效地祝福社區和家庭。

In light of the pandemic, physical school attendance was suspended and children had to stay at home. This has placed great strain in the parent-children relationships as well as mar riages. In response to the need, Alpha Hong Ko n g o r g a n i z e d a n u m b e r o f o n l i n e t r a i n i n g s e s s i o n s f o r The Mar riage Course and The Parenting Course, attracting approximately 200 pastors and leaders to join. The Marriage Course and the Parenting Course have proven to be effective pre-evangelistic tools for the Church.

Many wor king parents find it much easier to participate in the online courses, as there are no time and geographical restrictions. It has been a great way to bless the community and many families.

Samuel's Story

2019 年 受 社 會 運 動 的 影 響， 自 幼 認 識 耶 穌 的 Samuel

和 不 少 年 青 人 一 樣， 經 歷 了 掙 扎、 破 碎 和 創 傷。 感 恩 Samuel 發 現 了 啟 發 平 台。 他 不 但 自 己 參 加， 更 邀 請 和 帶領其他有相似經歷的年青人，一同在啟發互相分享和支

持。在過程中他自己和朋友皆感受到耶穌基督的愛，生命 得著更新。

Impacted by the social movement in 2019, Samuel, who knew Jesus from a young age, experienced struggles, brokenness and despair like many young people in Hong Ko n g . T h a n k f u l l y S a m u e l d i s c o v e r e d A l p h a . N o t o n l y did he participate in Alpha himself, he also invited and led other young people who have similar experience t o j o i n A l p h a . T h ro u g h A l p h a , S a m u e l a n d h i s f r i e n d s experienced the love of Jesus Christ and their lives were transformed.

在我們經歷社會的傷痛時，耶穌帶領我們參與啟發，啟發的影片 很生活化丶很貼地、很能回應到我們的生命，而且在小組討論中 有深入分享和同行的機會。更能與新朋友分享信仰和經歷主的 愛，整個氣氛都好溫暖。

我發現年青不一定喜歡上教會，可是啟發可以將耶穌帶進人群中， 以小組的形式貼心地分享我們的信仰，復興弟兄姊妹的生命。

In the midst of our pain, Jesus led us to join Alpha. The Alpha videos are lively, down-to-earth and relatable. Alpha gave us the space to share deeply and journey authentically with one another.

We also had the opportunity to share our faith with new friends and experience the love of Jesus Christ. The whole atmosphere was very war m.

I find that young people do not necessarily like going to church, but Jesus can be brought into their lives through Alpha. We can share our faith deeply in small groups and it is great to see more lives being revived for Jesus.

Mia's Story

Mia 來自有經濟需要的家庭，是一名育有兩個小孩的母 親。她希望尋找生命的意義，但從未想到自己有時間這

M i a i s a m o t h e r o f t w o y o u n g k i d s f ro m a f a m i l y with financial needs. She desires to search for the meaning of life but never thought she would have the time to do so. She was interested when her friend invited her to join Alpha Online, but the only caveat was her difficulty to do the online discussions in a noisy crowded apartment. She was touched when the church graciously sponsored her mobile data plan so she could do Alpha Online in the park while her kids played with other kids. Through Alpha and the church community, she experienced Jesus' unconditional love and discovered new life.

We are excited that the Alpha digital resources platform has been revamped last year. The platform inter face has been upgraded to improve user experience and the tool has been rebranded to "MyAlpha". After registration, you can get everything you need to run a successful Alpha with the click of a few buttons. The Marriage Course and The Pre-Marriage Course have a long history of helping couples build strong and lasting marriages. We are thrilled to release a brand-new reimagined series of the two courses, with new teaching content, creative short films, global stories, sofa couples, and expert insights.

Remaking these courses is essential if we were to equip churches to engage with millennials around the world and help them build strong marriages.

Looking Forward: The Marriage Course and The Pre-Marriage Course Cantonese dubbing versions will be launched in May 2021. The new series will be available for free download at our website.
