ustin, and this is my second ha Delta Kappa Collegiate Club Board. I will be the chair from 2027-2029. I am beyond excited to work with you all and learn from each other!
My collegiate club journey started in 2015 when Lynette Varner asked me if I wanted to be the first Alpha Delta Kappa Collegiate Club President for the chartering club at Ball State University. I served as president for two years and made so many lifelong connections and friendships from it. I graduated from Ball State in 2017 and became an official Alpha Delta Kappa sister in 2019. I am a member of the Indiana Tau chapter. I have served at the state level as the Indiana Vice President of Membership for three terms.
I am in my 9th year of teaching! I teach in a 2nd and 3rd grade multiage high ability classroom setting. This is my fifth year teaching this multiage class and I love it! Prior to teaching a 2/3 split, I taught third grade. In 2022 I earned my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University. Boiler Up!
I recently had my first child, Henley, in February. She is 9 months old now and I love seeing the world through her eyes. She is currently working on clapping and waving! I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband, Jordan. We love soaking up the summer sun on my parent’s boat during the summer months.
