“ WHAT DO I EVEN WEAR TO CONVENTION?” TRUST US, WE ASK OURSELVES THE SAME THING EVERY YEAR! To help take the guesswork out of packing, we've put together this What to Wear Guide with some example outfits to inspire you as you plan.
A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT NOTES: There will be a LOT of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. This guide is meant to help, not limit. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you wear. You don't need to copy the examples exactly, just make sure your outfit fits the general dress code guidelines and you'll be set!

ATHLETIC ATTIRE COMFORTABLE ATHLETIC ATTIRE SUITABLE FOR WELLNESS ACTIVITIES.
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Athletic T-shirt, athletic shorts, leggings or joggers, supportive athletic sneakers, athletic socks, a light jacket or sweatshirt (for cooler mornings), a hat or visor, a reusable water bottle, and sunscreen and sunglasses for outdoor wellness events.
AVOID Dress shoes or heels, sandals or flipflops, restrictive clothing, and heavy fabrics.

SMART CASUAL
A POLISHED VERSION OF CASUAL WEAR.WE RECOMMEND COMFORTABLE SHOES; THERE WILL BE A LOT OF WALKING! APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Dark jeans or chinos, button-up or high-quality T-shirt, casual blazer or jacket, stylish sneakers or loafers, Stylish dresses, jumpsuits, or separates (blouse + tailored trousers/skirts), heeled sandals, boots, or sleek flats.
AVOID Ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, athletic wear, worn or casual footwear.

PROFESSIONAL YET RELAXED. WE RECOMMEND COMFORTABLE SHOES; THERE WILL BE A LOT OF WALKING! APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Slacks or chinos, collared shirt (like a button-up or polo), optional blazer, loafers or brogues, Tailored pants, midi skirts, or dresses with blouses, knit tops or cardigans; flats or modest heels.
AVOID Ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, athletic wear.

BUSINESS FORMAL TRADITIONAL PROFESSIONAL ATTIRE
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Dark suit and tie, white or light-colored dress shirt, dress shoes, Pantsuit or skirt suit, sheath dress with blazer, accessories, closed-toe heels.
AVOID Denim, sneakers, casual fabrics, Tshirts or hoodies.

ALL-WHITE COCKTAIL ATTIRE APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: White trousers, white shirt (can be linen for summer), white dresses, white blouses, optional white blazer, loafers or clean white sneakers.
AVOID Colors, Dark-colored clothing, denim, athletic shoes, flip-flops.

FORMAL OR BLACK-TIE ELEGANT AND SOPHISTICATED. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Tuxedo (or very dark suit for "black tie optional"), white dress shirt, black bow tie, dress shoes, Floor-length gown or upscale cocktail dress, refined accessories, heels.
AVOID Jeans, sneakers, casual attire, clothing that falls below cocktail dress code.
