Emirates Diving Association (EDA) is a non-profit voluntary federal organization based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates and is accredited by UNEP as an International Environmental Organization.
EDA produces a quarterly magazine, ‘Divers for the Environment’, for the active and growing diving community in the UAE, for neighbouring regions and for its international members and readers.
EDA’s magazine started off as a local 4 page newsletter at the beginning of 2004 which soon turned into a slim magazine titled, ‘Divers For The Environment’ toward the end of the year. It developed to 24 pages, concentrating on local news and features. Now, our magazine covers articles from all over the world, has tripled in size and quality with sections focusing on Reef Check, scientific research, daily diving news, new and upcoming dive equipment, personal experiences, holiday destinations, underwater photography and more hereby catering to every single diver on our planet.
