Setting up your yearbook, we are here for you every step of the way!
We are happy to chat on the phone to help you get started on your yearbook design! Whether you have questions about the software, need tips on layout, or want guidance on gathering content, we are here to assist. Just let us know a good time for you, and we can dive into all the details together.

Using profile groups makes organising students easy - whether it's form names, whole classes, even school houses.

Invite Members
Members are the people in your yearbook: students, friends. With limited access they can only respond on their member page. Editors can see this page via the member activity feed.
As you start to create your theme you can think about colour palettes, fonts and backgroundschoosing your school colours, a theme of your choice - or check out our themes in the Inspiration Guide.
Invite the students / parents to login to upload their content. Its an easy way to get everyone's content straight to their profile!

How long will it take to create a yearbook?
There's no hard and fast timescale for producing a yearbook, but here we'll outline what you can expect.

• If students are invited, most content is auto-assigned to their profiles - super easy!
• Open your awards to collect votes.
• Students can add photos to your pic library for your collage pages.
• Not inviting students? Set up a cloud drive for content with a clear deadline.
Creation
Time for the fun part!
• Build your collages, personalise profiles, and enjoy the process.
• Need help? We're just a message or call away.

We offer two payment options:
Time: 1 day - 8 weeks
• Use our 3-part system: deposit, 80% pre-print, and post-delivery balance.
• Or skip the hassle - set up a storefront where students can pay directly. They can easily purchase their books online!
Proofreading Payment
Enjoying your yearbooks Delivery and fi nal checks
Time: 3-5 days
Ready to print? Our team will review your book for any printing issues.
• Remember to close the book to prevent changes after proofreading.
• We’ll send you a list of advisories to check before you and your staff proofreader give the final approval to print.
Time: 2-3 week
Paperbacks and standard laminate hardbacks take 2 weeks, while premium options take 3 weeks, depending on your location. For more details, visit allyearbooks.co.uk/delivery.
Time: A lifetime
The wait is over, they've arrived! Drop us a line to let us know the books have arrived safely - and let us know how much you LOVE them - we love to hear feedback from our customers! Then grab your friends, sign each others books and re-live those incredible moments.

Payment
We want to make payment as straight forward as possible! This is why we have two simple systems for collecting
Three-part payment
£100 deposit
Due whenever you would like to secure your order.
80% pre-print payment
This is due by your print deadline, we cannot go to print without this.
20% final payment
The remaining balance (if any) is due within 10 working days of delivery.
Information regarding payments is available within the 'Invoices and Payments' section of your setup menu. In this area, you can access invoices, make an online payment, update your billing address, and set up individual payments..

The quickest way to pay!
If the thought of collecting payments from everyone seems daunting, allow us to handle the challenging part for you. Through our payment portal, each person can conveniently and easily make their payment directly.
You set your price and generate the link!
Emailing the link to everyone saves lots of time and makes it easier to collect payments! Students can also purchase a book directly through their access to the book.
Our system collects a list of all the students that have paid, which you can download at the end of your project. This makes handing the yearbooks out a lot easier.

Paperback
Our paperback yearbooks provide the full yearbook experience for every budget. Paperbacks always have 40 pages per book. They are available at £10.99 per book, with a minimum order of just 30 copies.

Hardback Standard Laminated
Our standard laminated hardback is the boss of yearbooks and our most popular book type. Featuring a sturdy hardback cover with a glossy finish, and a low minimum order quantity of 30 copies and between 40-300 pages.
The plain white endpapers may be simple, but they’re absolutely perfect for turning your yearbook into a personal masterpiece. Think of them as a blank canvas just waiting for signatures, doodles, and heartfelt messages from friends.
Premium Laminated
Hardback
Our premium laminated hardback yearbooks feature engraved gold or silver foil cover artwork pressed from a cast metal block, customised to your crest or logo.
Printed endpapers inside each cover make the most of your available yearbook pages, lying near- flat to make them ideal for group photos.
Each book is finished with a ribbon bookmark available in a wide choice of colours.
Premium laminated hardback yearbooks have between 40 and 300 pages, with a minimum quantity of 50 copies.
Premium Leatherette
Hardback
Our timeless classic leatherette yearbooks provide the same features as our premium laminated hardbacks - engraved gold or silver foil cover art, printed endpapers and a satin ribbon bookmark - with a luxurious leatherette hardback cover instead of the laminated finish.
Premium leatherette hardback yearbooks have between 40 and 300 pages, with a minimum quantity of 50 copies.

Stay within the print guidelines! Nothing more frustrating than when your page designs get cut off when printed, ask one of us where they are if you're not sure :)

Don't leave your cover till the last second! Get it done and dusted early on and you will have more time to proofread your book at the end.

Before starting the project, ask around and see how many people would like a book - It's a great way to avoid missing copies and it will give you a budget to work towards.
Louise
If you are the solo editor of the yearbook, get a second set of eyes on the project. When you've worked on a yearbook for a long time, it's easy to overlook details.
It's also a good idea to get someone to double check everyone who should be in the book is *IN* the book.

Before inviting members to join the book choose your profile layout, add your profile questions and awards. Decide how many photo's you want to include & create labels.

Just a heads-up that we ask for a staff person to proof-read the book, or confirm they are aware of it. The sooner this is organised the better :) Just ask a member of the team if you have any questions about this and we'd be happy to help!

Cover Design
We believe you should ALWAYS judge a book by its cover. Cover design is so important to us we have a dedicated cover designer to work with you.
Select from our cover templates, and our designer can personalise them using your school or group's distinctive colours. If you prefer to include names and numbers on the back of your yearbook, just inform your designer.
If you want to design your own cover, you can do that too just ask us for dimensions.

The Profile page - where student content comes to life! Pages are auto-filled from the information entered by the student or collected by editors. All content is kept secure off page, safe from accidental deletion.
We find it best to invite students to the yearbook to fill in their profile content and contribute online as it increases engagement and a buzz around the project - that being said, if you work better alone or in a small team, you can collect the profile content off line to add it all yourself.
With a large selection of profile layouts to choose from, we'll have just the one you're looking for! Whether that be 1 student per double page spread or a spread to fit a whole class of 30. And the best part? They're all customisable, add your school colours and fun fonts with ease.

Fonts
Our font palette gives you 5 fonts to choose from, you can use the same set throughout your entire book or switch it up on every page. Custom pages
Designed an awesome page in Canva or Photoshop? No worries! You can easily upload your creations into our software, we'll provide the exact page dimensions, with or without bleed. For double-page spreads, just split the file into two single pages, and you’re good to go! Simple and seamless!
Colours
You have a palette of 5 colours, plus black & white for every page - each completely customisable. Have school colours you want to use - we can colour match using the school website for you. Have pantone colours - we can match to those too!
Apply the same colours throughout your whole book for a cohesive theme or go wild and use different colours on each page.

Collages are a fun, creative way to showcase a mix of candid moments, group shots, and those spontaneous snaps that don’t quite fit anywhere else.
Our software makes it super easy to customise your collage pages. Change your frame colours, remove frames for a clean modern look, use our fun in-software clipart and backgrounds to add personality and to theme your collage page (hello sports day!). Of course, we have pre-designed award layouts ready for you to use in your yearbooks - but did you know we have lot's of award styles to choose from too? Sometimes it's not all about the winner, we need to know who those runner-ups were.
Awards and superlatives are a great way to create buzz around the yearbook and increase engagement with the students - so be sure to have awards that are engaging and fun!
You may find there's that one person at the top of all of the awards poll - never fear! You can manually over-ride the winner if fair representation is your aim. Particularly handy for primary school leavers.

Although your school may have been given your photos on a disc, these are for school records only, they are unsuitable for print and are very low resolution.
