INDEXED TUITION
FAQ’s Should my family consider Indexed Tuition? Family circumstances range widely. While some families can afford only 50% tuition, others might be able to afford 75-100%. The formula used to calculate the tuition level is complex, and considers several factors that affect a family’s tuition affordability level. Submission of financial information that reflects the family’s unique financial circumstances is the only way to determine the exact level of tuition specific for that family.
What grade levels are eligible for Indexed Tuition? Full-time students (Kindergarten – 8th Grade) are eligible to apply for Indexed Tuition. Does every All Saints family submit forms for Indexed Tuition? All families are invited to submit financial information to determine the tuition level for which they are eligible. In addition to the submission of financial forms and information, an application fee of $42.00 is required to process a family’s Indexed Tuition determination. For families who elect not to submit financial forms, tuition will automatically be set at the top of the index for each student’s grade level. How is the tuition level determined? To help us objectively assess what a family is able to contribute to education expenses, All Saints uses School and Student Services (SSS by National Association of Independent Schools) as a trusted third party. The major components that define the indexed tuition range include income, assets, family size, cost of living, unusual expenses, school loans, number of independent school or college tuitions currently being supported, and other discretionary costs. We use the SSS figures as the baseline for our Indexed Tuition determinations, taking into consideration the school’s policies and the resources available for returning students as well as applicant families. All financial information provided is held in strict confidence.
Does Indexed Tuition continue throughout a student’s years at All Saints? If family circumstances remain the same and the school’s resources can continue to support indexed tuition to the same extent, the school intends for a family to pay an indexed tuition throughout their child’s years at All Saints. It should be noted that families must resubmit financial information and be determined for eligibility each year.
