Snapshots uring third term, the Junior School children have been engaged in Children's Book Week in various ways - from excursions to the Art gallery of Western Australia to lateral thinking in designing a chook palace and menus for zoo animals. (1)

Andy Griffiths, author of the JUST series and the BUM books, visited the Junior School this term. He spoke about the biggest, BADDEST book ever!

The Bad Book, which is choca-bloc full of killer cornflakes, flaming gold fish, bad riddles and very bad stories. (2)

Year 1 students' paid a visit to the senior school art room to get messy making mosaic pieces with .the Year 10 students. (3) Two new icons are now housed in the Collegiate Chapel. These were kindly donated by the Ladies Forum and were dedicated at a service on Sunday, 1 August 2004. (4) On Friday, 20 August 2004 the Junior School received the Norm Hyde Pastoral Care Award. The award recognized the team of junior school staff for their work in promoting school connectedness.
