All Saints Anglican School, founded in 1979, is a co educational school with 1850 enrolments from Pre Prep to Year 12. For 30 years we have proudly and passionately sought to serve the children of our local community and offer them a world class education, which allows them to flourish and thrive. At All Saints Anglican School we seek to recruit passionate, sensitive and intelligent teaching and support staff, who believe in and promote the school vision.

We encourage our students to think for themselves, to care for each other and to understand that they are worthy, precious and loved by God. As a school we need the support and engagement of our school parents who nourish us with their confidence in our determination to best serve their children.

In developing our next Strategic Plan, All Saints Anglican School intends to stay true to its vision of encouraging all members of our community to joyfully reach their potential. There is no room for relentlessness in education. Children have an extraordinary capacity to embrace life in an uninhibited way. Whilst putting together a focused blueprint for the next five years we are determined never to lose sight of Jesus’ promise of an abundant life.

Whilst looking to the future, we honour and value the past and the present. We remain grateful for the Anglican tradition upon whose principles our School was founded; we remain grateful to our founding mothers and fathers whose commitment and values inspired the extraordinarily positive culture that we enjoy today and which must never change; and we remain grateful for the spirit of endeavour that drives us to constantly look for ways in which we can better serve the children entrusted to our care.

We will undertake a rigorous evaluation of each strategy we develop through this planning process, reviewing and refining where necessary.

To provide a rich learning environment in which mutual trust, respect and tolerance are priorities and where learning diversity is promoted.

2. To model and encourage a growth/benefit mindset which sees continuous improvement as a personal responsibility.

3. To promote engagement in a balanced, inclusive curriculum and co curriculum, which promotes joyful learning and growth.

All Saints will provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment in which the development of relationships among all people responsible for the students learning and wellbeing is of primary importance

3. To encourage students to express themselves creatively and engage in leadership opportunities throughout their schooling.

To ensure recruitment processes attract and engage quality staff who understand and live the School vision.

2. To empower staff in a culture of collaboration and teamwork which encourages high teacher and student expectation in teaching and learning.

3. To enhance the professional capital of the School through the provision of professional learning and leadership pathways.

4. To exhibit the highest professional standards and accountability, by developing teachers who model informed practice in education.

5. To establish positive and respectful relationships based on Truth, Faith and Compassion.

EXPLORING, DREAMING, DISCOVERING Guiding Principle All Saints will provide a wide variety of opportunities for individual students to express themselves creatively.

Strategies 1.

To encourage all students to view participation in physical activity through individual and team sports as an essential component of a balanced life.

2. To encourage students to appreciate the value of Music, Drama, Debating and Public Speaking as vehicles for enhancing personal growth.

To review, refine and complement existing cocurricular and crosscurricular opportunities for students and staff.

4. To celebrate diversity and promote understanding of different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs.

3. To develop in all students an affinity with the outdoors and an understanding of the fragility of the environment to help them to understand their responsibilities as global citizens.

5. To inspire and complement students’ understanding of the world and their place within it by responsibly and strategically harnessing the potential of technology

LOVING COMMUNITY IN ACTION Guiding Principle The All Saints community will share the meaningful privilege of raising children of character and instilling in them a sense of the joy of serving others.

Five Year Strategic Focus To continue to provide a variety of outreach programs and strengthening existing ties with the wider community.

To further develop and strengthen the comprehensive Service Learning programs that currently exist.

2. To reach out to those in need in the local, national and global communities.

3. To celebrate and encourage the many community volunteer groups who serve our School.

4. To be recognised by the wider community as an institution that develops caring, responsible and contributing young adults.

5. To further develop professional partnerships that provide opportunities for mutual growth.

6. To support and uphold the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane and Anglican Church Robina, celebrating our partnerships in meaningful ways.

GROWING THROUGH GRACE, LEARNING THROUGH LOVE Guiding Principle All Saints is a place where the gospel is lived as well as taught and which strives to develop in all members of our School community a sense of how we are loved

by God.

Strategies 1.

To help each child discover and nourish their spiritual identity.

2. To explore the concept of growing through grace and how it may influence our daily lives.

3. To foster in all students the value of action motivated by love.

4. To apply His principles of love to people of all faiths and beliefs.

5. To celebrate the life of Jesus as an inspiring model for human growth and development.

FORWARD WITH COURAGE In developing our Strategic Plan 2017 – 2021 we have been guided by our belief that the life of Jesus and the good news contained in the Gospels provide a template for human aspiration. Through the Gospels we are called to look to the future with courage, with hope and with compassion.

Our deliberations have been inspired by our School Prayer: God of Love Your truth gives light to our minds, Your joy fills our hearts, Your strength enables us to live by the faith we have been taught.

Give to all in this School the desire for knowledge balanced with wisdom for justice informed by compassion for personal growth based on respect for others that we may grow in your likeness and reflect your love in the community where we serve.
