ayor Jeff Katz has issued a proclamation declaring Saturday, Aug. 4, “Sarah Groff Day,” in honor of the daughter of Cooperstown who will be competing in the London Olympics that day. Groff, daughter of Gerald and Jeannine Groff, will run, swim and bike in the triathlon at 4 a.m. (EDT) that morning, “which brings much pride and honor to her hometown,” Katz declared.
